Periods after baby

Was it different after each baby? Sorry if TMI but everything is just all kinds of jacked up after this kid. I bled for about 4-5 weeks after he was born (longer than the 3 weeks with my other 4). Then at 6w 5d pp, I started bleeding again. I thought it was my period but it only lasted 2.5 days and I never had any cramps or PMS symptoms - so I thought, hmmm maybe this is just more postpartum bleeding? Then at 8 weeks I started bleeding again, but it only lasted one day. No cramps again. I'll be 11 weeks pp tomorrow and I'm just annoyed not knowing if or when it's coming. Has this happened to anyone else?

Mine are a nightmare. Very heavy and clots now. It also lasts about 9 days. My son is almost 2. He is my first and only one. I wish it was normal like before ?

Some women find they get better after each baby. That was the case for my mum. Mine were about the same after my first. With my second I seem to clot a whole lot more and cramp much longer. I hate it. Give it some time and just try to check your cervix, maybe?

I know it's different with each baby but after my others, I remember my first being SUPER painful and heavy. I've heard that it usually gets worse after each baby - which proved to be the case with my others. It seems odd that this times it's zero pain and out of whack.

My period after was a lot lighter but longer .but the length was consistent 7 days

It can vary each pregnancy and each woman. Your hormones are still trying to balance out. With my second the month after my lochia I spotted once a day the whole month since I was pumping. Once I stopped pumping it ended and I didn't get my first period until 11 months postpartum.
