It wasn't too bad honestly! Besides, this is why I buy DH tools for his birthday and Christmas! He feels all manly and I get to use them on all my projects. ?
Also, my dad told me that latex paint will take a few days to fully cure so I couldn't put anything on them for a few days (thus resulting in all the crap that was in here just sitting on my floor/table in the meantime), whereas stain only takes an hour or so to dry.

I'd stain the same color as the floor. I think that would look great!

I would stain them.

I'd line them with shelf paper and leave them. Building the shelves musta been a batch. Lol. Looks great!

Good idea! I can't stain after I paint, so maybe I'll do that and see what I like.

I would sand them and stain them similar to your floor, light oak.

Is it weird that I really like them the way they are now?

Tough decisions! ?

My original idea was white and I bought a gallon of white semi-gloss at lowes this morning.
But then I got on Pinterest and the stained shelves looked so nice also. It made me second guess my original vision. ?

Then I would stain. I have white EVERYTHING in my kitchen and I hate it. Shows absolutely Everything!

Stain looks nice and classy with a touch of rustic while white just gets greasy and funky if not taken care of from the kitchen appliances

I'd paint them white. But I could be biased since mine are white ?
Ashley Roan·
LOL! It will be more work either way but I have to do something.

I think white would be nice but if it's for storage and it's going to be closed 90% of the time, I wouldn't bother with extra work lol

I think white would be really pretty, personally. But I like light colors.
