Coming home from school and watching The Golden Girls, Mama's Family, Sanford and Son, Saturday morning cartoons when Mickey Mouse was a real cartoon not this clubhouse crap and MTV played actual videos. I've got so many more, probably older ones too but those are the ones that came to mind ?

I could go on for days. What a beautiful childhood I had. Doors didn't have to be locked at night and I could ride my bike for hours without my parents worrying about my safety. I can't say the same for my kids.

My younger sisters and I are about 10 years apart, they don't remember not having cell phones or computers. Playing outside all day, until it was dark and the street lights came on. And you had no cell phone for your parents to call you on.
