Sorry, baby name post
I've decided I'm no longer asking for my husband's input and just making my own decision. ? We only have 2.5 weeks until he'll be here and he needs a name.
Elias River. Not sure how to shorten River for a nick name. But Eli has always been a favorite of mine

Elias river. Elias looks great on a resume compared to river (even though I love that name as well).
That's what I told her. I said she could call him River even if we chose Elias as his first name.
She replied "but, it's unacceptable if you don't name him River". ? She's 5.
Elias River. Your DD can still call him River since it would be his middle name.
I know a guy named Andrew Martin and he goes by his middle name instead.

Elias was one of the names I liked as well. And like the other posters, I also know a girl named River.
I LOVE Elias River. I wanted to name our last baby if it was a boy Elias but hubby vetoed that and she ended up being a girl lol.
I've heard a few girls being names river, which is why I'm a little nervous. When he's 20 and applying for a job, I want them to know he's a guy when they look at his resume! ?

So I made the post not to long ago about not having rights to the name blah blah blah well my cousin made a list of baby names for girls and guess what there it is again last one on the list!!! && she knew from being pregnant with my 2nd how bad I wanted that name if I had a girl!! lord if she ends up naming her daughter the name I wanted I’m still going name my daughter that too just different spelling!! I’ll be that person idc 🤣 like come up with your own unique names not take mine
