Induction Scheduled. ?
Today they set my induction date for 12/12 due to hypertension/preeclampsia. If something happens, it will be sooner than that. I'll be 37w 2d and so it's 3 days later than we originally discussed (which I'm happy about), but for some reason, I'm just really sad about it overall. Of course, I'm very excited to meet my little man, but this is my first scheduled induction (5th baby) and it just feels weird to me knowing/choosing his birthday.
I was induced with my third, that was my VBA2C. I too didn't get an epi until I was about 6cm. It took 24 hours though.
With my 4th, he was stillborn but not term. They said it could take up to 2 days to deliver him because my body wasn't ready but it only took about 6 hours.
I just want it to be successful! I don't care how long it is, although the quicker the better. ☺️
Both my inductions were very quick. My first took 11 hours start to finish and my second only took about 6 hours. I wasn't dilated at all either time. I did not get an epidural right away either time. I got one when I was dilated about 6cm both times and that is only because I asked for it. It was never pushed on me.
I'm hoping and believing that it will for me too! And I'm going to try anything to get my body ready for a vaginal delivery! Sex, walking, yoga, massage, bouncing on the ball. Even if it's all for not, I'm still going to try! ?
I was induced with my son for the same reason! The induction went smooth! I was in labor 36 1/2 hours both times and they both were inductions. My daughter was 42 1/2 weeks and son was 36 1/2 weeks. My body refuses to dilate! My son was fine and healthy but his weight was low and still is. They give you a epi right away because the pain can cause your pressure to rise and put baby at risk!
I was induced twice due to pre eclampsia. My first I was exactly 36 weeks and my second I was 36 weeks 6 days. I really wanted to make it full term both times, but my body had other plans. Both of my inductions went very smoothly and I delivered two healthy babies...I'm sending good vibes your way for a smooth and quick induction this time around as well!
He also said that if I'm dilated even slightly, they'll bring me in the night before and start off with the foley bulb to start dilation vs. just starting with pitocin.
I'm just praying my water will break naturally beforehand! With my daughter, it broke spontaneously at 36w 6d, but she was breech so I had to have a rcs.
Yes, so does my OB and I'm so grateful that I have a supportive OB who's even willing. Most won't even think of induction for VBACs (which I think is silly). My previous two births (VBA2C and early vaginal stillbirth) were inductions so I know my body responds favorably to it - which is good - I just really wanted the excitement of going into labor naturally.

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

My story 😊😊😊😊: Its not that exciting but here it goes!! So yesterday I was scheduled to be induced at 8pm. Well Sincere Amor had other plans! I woke up at 7am && felt like I had to poop. Well it was hurting because felt like I had some real bad gas. I went back to bed && 20min later I got up again to use the restroom.
