I broke down! Sorry, long!!
I broke down! Sorry, long!!
My DD had soccer practice today and while I was in the back with her trying to get her cleats on, my son (10) thought it would be funny to lock my doors and not tell me. Well, lo and behold, I closed the door and locked my keys in the car! Not a huge deal, my husband was supposed to be there in 15 minutes. I had talked to him 45 minutes before and he said he was getting ready to leave work.

And it's okay to cry. Sometimes it takes one little thing to just push you to your limits and all you can do is cry. I think it's good to continue to allow yourself to have low moments. Hugs, mama.

I hope you feel better after a good cry. It sounds like you need a mommy time out. Might be time to go do something just for you.

I literally just hit my toe on the bed and ripped my pinky toenail off.
Maybe I just need to go to bed now. LOL! This day obviously isn't getting any better.

How old is she?

Yiu definitely need some time to rest and relax. A nice warm bath might help. It always makes me feel better.

I think we've all been there once or twice. I know I have! Just remember that the days are long, but the years are short. (I repeat that to myself sometimes) Let yourself have these moments and give yourself a time out, and wake up ready to have a better day tomorrow ❤️

Sounds like a really rough day. ?
Hope the good cry helped you feel better! And I pray you have better days and it all goes up from here! ❤️?

Thanks ladies! I came home, cooked dinner and am now snuggling with my littlest in bed. She passed out with me, which never happens anymore and I'm just enjoying her snuggles.
Pp, my DD will be 5 in 1.5 weeks.

I think most of us have those days where it is all too much. I am glad you have a river to escape to and be alone with your thoughts until you are ready to confront the issues. It is great to take time to clear your mind and have a good cry. I hope tomorrow is better.

Thank you all, you're making me feel much better! I was feeling pretty defeated earlier.
It's been rough, I won't lie. On top of the high risk pregnancy and all the stress that comes with that, my boss, who was also one of my best friends, who I've worked beside for 9 years, quit a few weeks ago. I've since taken over all of job requirements, as well as keeping mine. I already worked 45-50 hour work weeks and now I'm lucky if I work less than a 10 hour day. It's been taxing on me physically and emotionally, as well as on my relationship with my husband and my kids.
I just want to go out on leave early! I'm worried what this stress and long hours will do to my health and my baby's. I'm having terrible insomnia where I just wake up at all hours of the night and cannot go back to sleep.
It's getting so hard to juggle being 7 months into a high risk pregnancy, working essentially two jobs, managing a business unit of 12 other people alone, 3 kids, and all the house/wife stuff. I'm just so exhausted. I don't know how I can keep up!

What happened to your son? 10 is old enough to know better.

He's 10. He definitely knows better.
How old was your daughter that was crying?
I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

He said he thought he was helping me. I don't think he was intentionally thinking about it. He's already grounded for bad grades so there wasn't much more I could punish him.
She'll be 5 in a week and a half.
