I miss when pregnancy was just fun and exciting. Now I'm constantly afraid. Every twinge, every cramp, I find myself fighting back the tears because I'm so fearful of something going wrong again. I just want to be excited like I was with my other 4 pregnancies, but there's this "what if" in the back of my mind and another loss would just crush me.

I'm baking my 2nd rainbow baby and it's TOUGH. Every day, every week, every milestone is a reminder for me to just continue to have faith!!!!! So many of us have been right where you are and it's never easy - but like they say, nothing worth having ever is.

Praying for us all ❤?❤?❤?

I've been following your story.. And I think it's time I share with you mine...

I had 3 healthy beautiful babies. My 4th ended in a stillbirth at 20 weeks. I was absolutely devastated, traumatized...

Shortly after, I got pregnant again. I was a MESS. I didn't enjoy the pregnancy at all. I didn't relax until the second I heard him cry. But he was healthy and perfect!

Then I got pregnant with my 6th. I was actually able to enjoy pregnancy a little (even though we knew he had the same condition my stillborn daughter had!) I prayed a lot, went to church more, had faith in God and trusted my doctor. He was born healthy this past January :)

Hang in there mama, your happy ending is coming ❤️

There is hope! My 4yo I had preterm labor at 30-32 weeks, dilated to 4, contractions didn't even hurt! Ended up stopping it and went on to have her at 38 weeks! Then I went on to have two miscarriages. My 4th pregnancy my water broke at only 14 weeks. No doctor would really help me. They all just pushed abortion but I kept telling them no. At 23 weeks and 5 days I went into labor with her. Her heart rate kept dropping. They did nothing to stop my labor. I had to fight to get an epidural. They all saw it as pointless. I finally convinced them to do and emergency c section. One of the doctors literally tore into me (yelling) because they thought they'd have to do a vertical cut and no one saw that my baby's life was worth saving. Finally they rolled me into the OR and got her out. I don't know how long they fought for. All I know is that they (the wonderful NICU team that cared) did try to save her but her lungs never developed enough due to not having enough amniotic fluid for ten weeks. She passed away shortly after bring born, right on my chest as they were sewing me up. She looked at me, smiled, and went to be with god as my guardian angel. We had a funeral for her. I was numb. I barely made it through. I never wanted to try ever again. 9 months later I had a blighted ovum and my current Dr did everything he could to try and figure out why I've had so many issues. I found out I was pregnant with rainbow baby number 1 February of last year. I was scared. I hadn't had a period in months and had resorted to heavy drinking to deal with so many issues I had going on. As soon as I found out I quit and saw the Dr asap. Thankfully, yet scarily, I was only 5 weeks. I was in and out of the ER and L&D for bleeding and contractions. My Dr tried to get a perinatologist (the same one that kept pushing for abortion with my angel) to do a cerclage. They all agreed my cervix was short, but he said I wouldn't need it. That I'd make it full term. Low and behold, at 27 weeks, I went into labor. They immediately transferred me to to hospital with the shatty Peri Dr and he tried to do a c section even though she wasn't distressed, just wasn't head down. After 12 hours I got an epidural, accepting the fact that I was having a micro preemie, and 30 minutes later my contractions stopped. Once again I stopped dilating at 4 cm. They ended up sending me home. A week later I went in for cramps that we're burning like I had one hell of a UTI. When they checked me I was 10 cm, baby was sideways and distressed. I was immediately prepped for surgery. I wasn't even asleep when they started cutting. She was born fighting at 28 weeks and 4 days, and had to be transferred to a bigger hospital with a NICU capable of saving her. She's now 9 months old, and a bit behind developmentally, but healthy and happy nonetheless. She stayed in NICU for 2 months and 1 day exactly. After she was born I was put on the mini pill since I was breast feeding. Also used condoms and other forms of contraception to prevent pregnancy, and here I am 36 weeks on Thursday with a boy. He's healthy. I'm healthy. I've been on modified bed rest, progesterone shots, and had a cerclage this time, and I've made it this far with actually very few hospital trips. We didn't even know I was pregnant til 14 weeks! It's been one hell of a ride, and there's still ten million other crappy things going on, but he's here. I get my cerclage out Thursday and Dr is letting me try a vba2c since my first was vaginal no problem. There is hope. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Always pray. Always have faith. Everything works out in the end. I've been keeping you in my prayers and I will continue to do so.

I am praying for you. I had anxiety my entire pregnacy due to a loss. The loss robs you of truly enjoying your pregnancy. My husband felt this way as well. We prayed and made it, but it was definitely a trying time. ❤

Thank you, ladies!

I just keep having terrible flashbacks to when we found out and delivered our son. They've gotten much worse over the last week. It's probably the pregnancy hormones just bringing it all back up again.

The pregnancy with my now 4 month old was the most stressful time of my life. I worried every second until I could feel him, and then I worried when he was still. It's just different after losses and I don't think there's anything that can change it.

Congrats on your rainbow! H&H pregnancy!
