Sooo I'm thinking DD is allergic to almost every kind of dressing out there. This has happened with ranch dressing, French onion dip, and now A1 sauce. The only thing it hasn't happened with so far is blue cheese dressing.

My daughter has this reaction with garlic.

My daughter does the same thing with ranch!!! I can't figure out why!

You could email them for a complete list of ingredients as sometimes they are not fully listed. Hope you find the cause! She's gorgous

Soybean oil, corn oil, canola oil, high fructose corn syrup is in almost all of those ingredients. It's toxins in a bottle.

when I was little my face would break out if ketchup got on it but I outgrew it.

It looks exactly like contact dermatitis, and is super common! Both of my kids have it. They turn bright red wherever certain foods touch (salad dressings, cinnamon, pepper, hummus), and the redness lasts for just half an hour, then goes away. It's not an allergy, just a skin sensitivity. I only know this because I raced my daughter to the doctor the first time it happened. ;)

Yes, all these red spots are where the A1 touched her face. Soy could be it, my oldest has bad reactions to soy milk, he's never had an issue with dressings though.

This happened to my son, and it was soy!

My son did this. But it was only where the sauce touched. So he would get it on his hands and touch his face and break out.

I'd say Soy (also written as "natural flavoring" would be the most common ingredient. Poor baby!

Time for them to do a simple blood test so you know. Just a blood allergy screening, not a full allergy panel. (Which is really hard on little ones)

My daughter had this happen every time with dressings too. I narrowed it down to citric acid and once I avoided citric acid on her skin, she stopped having those rashes.

She'd ingest it fine, but if any got on her skin she would flare right up

This happens to my dd with all sauces too! I'm fairly certain it's the vinegar in them!

This also happens to my dd with ranch- but nothing else! I'd be interested to find out what it is!

Might be a preservative they use. Is it all Kraft brands? Have you tried organic stuff?

My dd is allergic to cinnamon. Her mouth breaks out l, but never her whole face.

Thanks!!

Is there a dressing she likes that you could try making homemade. Maybe she's reacting to something they put in to preserve it.

Thanks everyone!

@damdam - thanks! She gets them from her daddy!

My oldest looked like that after eating ranch of mayo. He eventually outgrew it. He is 7 and doesn't like either one now. I just didn't give it to him when he was younger.

My son gets like that with ranch. It sucks because he likes his dip and was not fooled by plain sour cream.

I did and the only common things are vinegar, dried onion and dried garlic. I'm almost certain she has had these in dinner recipes at some other point though. I looked at the back of a taco seasoning packet and it had the same ingredients minus the vinegar, she's had taco's. She's had pickles before though, which uses vinegar.

It's very frustrating.

This happens to my son when he eats ranch. So we just use sour cream for a dip for him, he hasn't reacted to plain sour cream at all.

It could be sensitive skin. Honestly since you're listing so many items it sounds like she needs to get tested. Allergies can start out mild and then progress into something worse.

Also it could not be an ingredient actually in the foods but a common ingredient that is used in every factory.

My ds looks just the same right now it happens every time he eats ranch

I'd say it's time to see a specialist. Just in case the next time is a serious reaction.

Нравится Ответить

Can you print out the ingredient lists and compare to see what they have in common?

No advice but she's beautiful, her eyes are stunning. ❤️
