Freaky things your kid has said!
Today we were listening to the easy listening channel, which is all instrumental. A song came on that was composed in 1943. My three year old DD excitedly says...
We were in the waiting room at the dr and my son starts saying "Fire! Fire! We gotta get out!" for no apparent reason. About 5 mins later the fire alarms went off and we got evacuated. Another time we were shopping and he starts saying "Choking! Choking! She's choking!" A little while later at lunch a woman at the next table started choking. That kinda stuff happens with him all the time
Mine might be far fetched but here it goes...
I remember being a spirit, hear me out. When I was a child even now I remember I was on someone's couch and remember the old TVs the one's were you had to turn the knob to a number. Well this family had that type of TV I remember turning it on to a vigil people had candles and waved them in the air. I sat down on their couch and watched the TV until a woman came downstairs and was annoyed that the TV was on she turnt it off and i waited for her to leave until I turnt it back on she came back one more time to turn it off but this time she looked around I was right in front of her but she couldn't see me (I know because she never acknowledged me) she turnt the TV off and i remember turning it back on and leaving. I don't remember how I left but I know I was frustrated and left. So the vigil was Elvis's I know this because my mother was watching a documentary about his legacy I told her I remember the vigil when that lady kept interrupting me and turning her TV off my mom said I wasn't born but I insisted that I remember the vigil being held and the news covering it.
Now that I'm older I still have long term memory I remember learning how to crawl the smell of the wood of our old home looking out of my family's mailbox as a baby memory's of my mom laying me to sleep even getting a pamper changed by my older brother ok sorry for the story.
I'm still pregnant and way before I knew I was pregnant. My DD said mommy u have baby in your tummy. I was like ? we were trying for a baby but I haven't tested so the next day I took a test and it was positive ? also before they told me the gender of my baby my DD told me it was a girl and sure it enough we are expecting a lil girl
If this stuff gets all up in my dreams I'm gonna die. These are creepy. And I'm a total believer.
One night I'm getting DS4 ready for bed. He walks right up to me and says Mommy, there's a baby in your tummy. I assured him there wasn't. I was totally done with babies & no one had even mentioned babies at my house. I was sad because I had gained a few. Three days later I discovered I was pregnant.
Also forgot to mention that the only "friend" my DD will talk about she calls MeMe. MeMe was my best friend's (the one who says my house is haunted) grandma. My DD never met MeMe since MeMe died 2 weeks before DH and I got married and that was back in 2006. DD always smiles and tells me that MeMe smiles at her and always says that "MeMe loves mommy"
I had an imaginary friend when i was around 2 1/2. Mum tells me i described her as an old lady in a flowy white dress with a lacy shawl on her shoulders (in toddler speak of course). We moved house and my imaginary friend did not come with us. Mum figured i had just forgotten her.
A few years ago Dad got talking to the new owners of the house we were living in and he said that there had been some funny things happening, the same things moving that happened when we lived there. He also described my imaginary friend with perfect detail, he saw her standing on the front porch, and then she just faded away.
My imaginary friend may not have been so imaginary after all!
Just tonight i was rocking my 2yo son before putting him in bed. The lights were off & his door was shut so, very dark in the room. He usually lays his head on my chest & turns his face to left & right while he gets comfy. Tonight he suddenly buried his face between my boobs & says mommy it's coming closer to me! He sounded nervous & just to be sure of what he said i asked what? He said again: the red thingy is coming closer to me! I get creeped easy but i had to keep cool for his sake so i assured him there was no red thing in the room & steered the convo away quickly. ?he seemed to be fine after that but, sheesh! I had bad nightmares as a youngster & i would hate for my baby to be afraid at night.
An old friends mom would have night mares about someone and they would turn up pregnant. ..I thought she was a liar.... but then my little sister got the same thing...everytime she gets nightmares about someone that person turns up pregnant.
It's weird! Especially when she says "your pregnant" and ask why she says " I had a dream that you died a tragic death" the tragic death is different everytime.
And when I was little I had an "imaginary friend" my mom was never alarmed because she said nothing scarey ever happened. ..i dont remember much because I was so young...i just remember playing with someone who had blonde hair name Christina.....mom says that was my "friend"
I haven't had my baby yet but people in my family have seen or heard freaky things... right after my grandfather died my sister was born and when my sister was about 1.5-2 she would talk about an angle that lived in our old cabin. only she could see the angle and one day she said that he moved on..
also my grandmother-wife of my dead grandfather- woke up one night and swears his ghost was standing at the end of her bed.
both my mom and grandmother say they can hear the Indians chanting from the air vents. -we do live where Indians once lived.
OMG @twodaughters! I think I would have been the one to go away! That creeps me out!
My DD and I were laying in bed and she told me there was a scary monster with messy hair and a hurt face. She talked to it right in front of me. I told her to tell it to go away.
Two days later she went to go to the bathroom and burst out crying, almost hyperventilating because the scary monster was in the bathroom. I held her and told her we'll make it go away for good and we told it to leave & not come back. She said it did and it's been about 2 months now with nothing.
My 2 yr old sits in her room and talks to her "friends" One day DH asked her about her friends and she just shook her head. He said "are you not suppose to talk about them?" She shook her head and said "no daddy no"
Thing is my best friend from high school told me the first time she ever walked into this house that its haunted by a little boy and an old woman
My step daughter and I were looking through pictures of her daddy and us and she points to this blank space in a photo and asks "who is that?"
I zoomed in to examine the image and there was literally nothing there but she insisted a person was standing in that exact spot. Completely creeped now.
@kinsey - it's hard to explain. I can just kind of feel it when I look at them. They have this peaceful way about them. Almost like they have a different perspective on things. I don't know, I'm sure that made no sense! LOL!
Not my child, but my friend's 3 yo niece was sitting at the kitchen table in his home and started laughing. We asked her what was funny, she said "Bubba is making funny faces." My friend's stepdad had passed away in the house years before his niece was born. "Bubba" is what my friend called him, no one else. His niece talked about Bubba on a few other occasions, but it's been a few years since she's said anything about him.
My baby's still in my belly, but my SO's little brother (he was 6 at the time) was explaining to us how he wanted to help his new friend find his parents.
He was describing a little boy, and told us how his "friend" lived in his closet in his room and he was 6 just like him. Then he goes "Why don't you ask him yourself? He's sitting right next to you."
We were all sitting in the living room and he pointed to the empty space on the couch next to his Aunty.
It was beyond creepy, and it really freaked me out ?
@francine - she just started dancing around the room. She didn't say anything else.
Love these stories! My daughter will be 2 in a month and our 10 yr old black lab Chuck passed away in June. Well apparently she sees him because at least once a day out of no where she gets super smiley and says "Chucky dog! Hi chuck!" And then takes off running. I think its so sweet. If I ask her what color he is she says "black!".
There's a picture of my husband's grandad in our house, he was super close to him and was hit pretty hard when he died so he doesn't really talk about it. We've literally NEVER told our daughter who he is. One day she points to his photo and says "That's Great Papa, yep. I love him. " the picture of him resembles my FIL a lot so I asked her if she meant Papa Robin. She said "No Momma, that's Great Papa. He's nice."
She's 2.5.....it was freaky. But I wouldn't mind if he was hanging around. He would have adored our kids.
My 4 year old son was pretending to be on the phone one day and I heard the tail end of his conversation. Mucking around I asked "Jax who are you talking to?" He responded "mum I was talking to Noah he is going to come and visit me soon". In real life I'd just received a text from Noahs mum saying they were coming down soon and could Noah come for a sleepover. So I responded to Jax "oh that's really cool. So what else was Noah up to?" Jax replied "he was just playing with snails but they've finished now." Then he runs off to play. Laughing at the coincidence I texted noahs mum saying how Jax was just on the phone to Noah and he said he was coming to visit and that you'd been playing with snails. Well next minute I get a text from Noahs mum saying they were just outside playing with snails ???. I asked Jax how did you know Noah was coming to visit and that he was playing with snails? He shrugged and said "I just knew mum!"
I don't believe in reincarnation but I do believe in old souls. Not sure if that makes sense.

Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep

As a mother you know when your child is poorly, and it's more than just god damn viral infection. But no f*** ing doctor would listen.
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t...

My beautiful little girl went to be with God, her baby sister, and her uncle yesterday morning! I wish so badly that she was still here with me. She was my best friend and my rock. My beautiful sweet baby! My heart went with her! I will never stop missing you my beAutiful Hannah Nicole! Moms always trust your gut feeling and NEVER believe a doctor when they try to change your mind. My baby would still be here with me if the doctors just listened. She went to have a pik line put in which is like ...

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
