Try Lysine. It's a supplement, pill form. Also try swishing Epsom salt water, not table salt.

I use to wet the tip of my finger and put salt directly on it a few times a day , it goes away fast it stings when you put the salt on obviously but worth it lol

They didn't have kanka at target so I bought orajel for mouth sores. It numbs it up for a bit but then it goes back to extreme pain.

I put salt directly on the canker sores which help with the pain of you can bear the ought he pain lol. Also Kanka which is a numbing gel may help also.

Ur doctor can give u some medicen that will fight it off i always got them so bad till my dr. Gave me this medicen n i havent got one sence an its been over a year

I've been using campho-phenique, which usually helps, but it's not helping these. They just keep getting worse.

I've had them since childhood too but a few years ago I started getting them horribly! Like 5+ at a time. I completely changed my diet, stopped eating citrus fruit, salty or vinegary foods, and changed my toothpaste to one without this certain type of acid. They've gotten better but these two right now are kicking my butt.

Too much acidity in your diet causes those.

My husband gets them horribly. He uses my essential oils, onguard and lemon in a gargle everyday. Hasn't had them since he started.

I know he used to put salt directly on them. I've also read putting a TUMS tablet on them helps but I don't know about that.

I used to get canker sores so bad when I was younger. They are awful. I maybe only get one or two a yr now as an adult. I use Kanka. It's fairly cheap and you can get it at any drug store. It really helps as it puts a protective coating on the sore so you can brush your teeth, eat, function without constant pain until it heals. Good luck, those things are a b*tch!
