So we can get some AC in here! It was 100 degrees and HUMID today!

We'll make a nice chunk of change off of our current home but my goal was to put that down completely to get our mortgage around $800 per month. My salary would be used for renovations so we couldn't get it all done ASAP, but would be able to within 6 months of living there.

Love it ? old houses are so cute and they feel like a home should feel like.

Nothing in general...but old houses tend to have steam radiators. It also means if there is no modern furnace there is no ducting for central air (if you want it). The cast iron old time steam radiators get extremely hot. The steam is roughly 221 degrees that is pumped into them from the boiler.

It would be fun to go and see it at least and if you fall in love buy it.

My old farmhouse had radiators. They weren't extraordinarily old, but they were designed to not catch fire.
