Tacos with ground sausage??
Would this be good? I have to cook ground sausage and can't think for the life of me what I can make with what I have!
I do potatoes with ground meat with a mix of herbs, sometimes with peppers and other veggies, a little bit of tomatoes and bake it in the oven. When its almost done i mix eggs with a little yoghurt or sparkling water and just pour it on top. Bake for another 10 min. My husband loves this.
I'm just kind of losing it! Ever since the in-laws moved in, I've been cooking for 7 people (as opposed to 4). My MIL just buys random s*** and takes it out to thaw - i.e johnsonville ground sausage.
I really don't want to go to the store... AGAIN... for the 27th time since they moved in!
Ooooo! I didn't think of homemade pizza!
But damnit, I don't have mozzarella cheese! Only cheddar. :-(
If it has seasonings in it already, then no. But I don't think it would even be considered sausage if it didn't... Most have either sage or Italian seasonings that would completely clash with mexican seasonings.
You could make spaghetti with it instead of ground beef. You could make it super simple and just make patties with a couple sides.
Or sauteed sausage, mushrooms, and spinach over pasta with homemade alfredo (butter, cream, and parmesan).
