I definitely thought being kidnapped and tied to train tracks was going to be a bigger concern. Quick sand made me afraid of sand boxes, as I was under the impression that normal sand just opened up and slowly digested you.
I thought that every white cargo van that I saw was being driven by a creepy guy who would try to offer me candy and kidnap me.
I was sure I would have needed to stop drop and roll by now!
And I didn't believe in dinosaurs,
I thought they were made up like Santa or the Easter bunny. What a little skeptic I was, haha!
I agree with volcanoes and dinosaurs. I always thought at some point I would need to evacuate for some reason... I still find myself looking for exits and coming up with master what if plans when I'm in stores or new places. lol and yes quicksand. One of the biggest ones though was anacondas. ? I watched the movie with J Lo in it and I was absolutely terrified. It still freaks me out when I swim in lakes/rivers and I hear stuff underwater. Pretty sure a giant snake will come for my life one day.
I thought cats were girls and dogs were boys. lmfao
I was such an airhead lol
but crossing the street was such a big deal. now I jwalk lol
When I was a kid I was always afraid I would be kidnapped or the house would catch fire.
Sharks in the tub, pool, pretty much ever there was water. I still don't like water but I can relax in the tub now :)
I saw the movie tremors-with the giant worms in ground that ate people- at a very young age. At night I would lay in my bed and not make a peep afraid they would hop out and eat me?
Tobacco. Because it was a tumor causing, teeth staining, smelly, puking habit.
I though nobody in the world smoked but I realized a lot of people do. Even a few of my teachers smoked.
I always thought dinosaurs would somehow be an issue for me.
Tornados were a huge fear! But I do live in Kansas so that was more of a real fear. But now that I'm older I realize it's not as scary and when we do have them I don't freak out like I used to.
I was always afraid the alligator thing from the garbage pail kids would be under my bed and get all my toes to keep in his little metal box. Also that a critter from the movie critters would be in the toilet and get me when I sat down. I always hit the floor running when getting out of bed and always checked the toilet before and after sitting down.
I thought rainforests were fictional because "they were too beautiful and mystical to be real!" I was so sad because I thought I would never be able to go to there. I still remember how happy I was when I realized they were real.
Alligators under the bed. I would turn my light off and run and jump in bed. For some reason they were only under there at night.
I was really worried about earthquakes after seeing bad ones on the west coast.... although I lived in Missouri
Lava and volcanoes. I thought that volcanoes were everywhere. Little did I know that I don't have much to worry about in Arkansas lol
Lol!
I thought big bad wolves were a huge issue, against caped little girls, chickens, sheep, home construction and pigs.

Haha @Cookie, water shortage was one of my biggest fears as well! And I live in Oregon surrounded by rivers, lakes and the ocean. I'm pretty sure I saw the same cartoon.
