Thanks! Yes, he was so amazing! After she was born, I was just laying there crying my eyes out thanking him for being so supportive and trusting me and her to get it done.
He was even there the WHOLE day and was checking on my every hour or so. When it was time to push, he never left my side (I've been with a few friends during birth and their OBs didn't come in until the last 5 minutes of pushing). I had asked him to let me tear unless absolutely necessary and at one point he said "ok! I'm going to give you one more contraction to push through and if her head isn't out, I'm going to have to cut you so come on! You got this!". I guess that's all I needed because the next time I pushed, her head was out!! :-)
Thank you ladies!
If you have another one you can try again, PP! Don't lose hope! :-)
Thank you ladies! It was so wonderful! I pray that every woman who wants to experience a VBAC goes for it! It is so so so so so worth every second!
One day later and I feel AMAZING! I did tear a little and have some stitches but it's nothing, NOTHING like a c-section incision. My body feels wonderful and I'm just enjoying postpartum so much more this time around. :-)
I love this! I had a c-section 6 months ago and I'm still so heartbroken over it. I want to try for a vbac next time but I haven't gotten any positive comments. This gives me hope! Congratulations on your beautiful miracle!
