My BP was always high with my son and now with my daughter as well, it's my nerves, I know it! I feel my heart racing while in there. I had to do 2, 24 hour urine jugs! They're gross lol.

I just turned in one last week and i have to do it again tomorrow. If they find more protein, then i have to stop working.

They just said I am borderline, my BP was 139/89 on Tuesday so they wanted me to come back in a few days for another check. I went back yesterday and it was 140/80. There was no protein in my urine either time but they want to get a baseline from the 24 hour sample and do some blood work on Monday. I guess that will help them later on in the pregnancy if it gets any higher.

I'm 33w, 3d and I'm already high risk. I've never had high BP with my other two pregnancies so hopefully it all settles down!

I just turned in my 24 hour urine test today, I hope I don't have preeclampsia. They keep trying to induce me and I keep saying no and making them wait lol

I had to do that twice! Because they kept admitting me into the hospital and releasing after a day.

I had to do 3 separate 24hr urine catches with my last pregnancy. Ugh, they suck so bad. I was also told it needed to be kept cold (in a cooler with ice or in the fridge...I did both, the cooler was easier since it could be right next to the toilet), it'll help reduce the smell. Good luck!!

They told me to pee in a cup and pour it in the jug. Store it in an iced cooler or the fridge. I kept mine in a plastic bag in the very bottom of the fridge. Do they think you have pre e?

No, they just gave me a big a orange jug! No directions, just bring it back on Monday morning and get some lab work done too.

Yes op. Its gross. Did they give the "hat" thing that goes in the toilet to colect it? I waited til it was full to pour it in the jug because i peed so dang much.

I got to do that at school and there's this person that likes to steal drinks and lunches at school. This day, a person, possibly the thief in question, asked me about the red jug I was walking towards the front. I said: "oh yeah, I've had to resort to this big red jug to keep my pee in because someone keeps messing with the little bottles I was storing in the fridge. Apparently when you're pregnant your pee has concentrated sugars in it and can resemble a flat ginger ale soda (which I liked to bring to drink and had disappeared so much most of us keep our sodas in personal cups and jugs in the fridge hoping to discourage the thief with backwash)."

The person went a little pale and I said yeah "that's why I figure instead of little sample bottles and jugs I'll have this big one to warn people off."

Bunch of s*** and honestly if they thought about it two seconds they would have called BS. It was very funny though the look of shock and fear lol.

I kept my jug in the medical fridge btw no where near food. I'm not gross, lol.
