Being Monitored during labor
I was in L&D last night, I fell and had some contractions and high BP.
Also, sorry if this is a dumb question, but should I bring my own yoga/birthing ball? I don't have one but can buy one.
I had a successful vbac and was monitored the whole time in Dec. Once i got to the hospital i was only confined to the bed for about twenty min until the nst was reactive. Then i got to get up. I had to stay on the monitors but i was able to stand my entire labor. I walked along side the bed, used the birthing ball and did squats. I was never confined to the bed. Got to hospital at 11am and was 5cm then had her at 3pm so i stood and squatted for around 3.5hrs then got on the bed on all 4s and rocked her down till she was crowning then flipped to my back and started pushing. So all together i was only on the bed for approximately thirty min.
I'm ok with some monitoring, I just don't want it to restrict my ability to move around.
Monitoring is e best way to detect a uterine rupture. So I think it is worth it, personally, to be continuously monitored, even though it is a pain.
Does your hospital have any wireless monitoring devices? Some do.
Otherwise, you might ask if the machine will stretch far enough that you could be right next to it on a yoga ball, chair, standing with partner, etc. sometimes that is an option.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I was monitored through both my Vance but still able to move around xxx as long as they can still hear baby's heart beat touring to move
