what's a tramp stamp?.. I have 2 a butterfly on my right shoulder which I love and a fancy 'A' with a halo above it on my left wrist.. my oh and dd both have a name beginning with A so it's perfect.. that one hurt alot but I also have 12 piercings :).. I'd get more tats but I'm now a Muslim convert.. iv been wanting my star sign somewhere though and I might get it secretly :)
I have a Buddhist symbol on the back of my neck, I love it and have had it years. I usually wear my hair down which covers it but I didn't do it for anyone else so that doesn't bother me. Managed to hide it from my dad for 2 years too haha. I'd love to get another one, if baby is born in next couple days he'll have his dad's birth sign so was thinking of having the symbol done for thwm both. Or something on my hip, nothing huge.
i don't regret any of mine. i have one that i am having covered, but that's an artist issue, i really like the tat, he just didn't do it very well. my best advice is to make sure you give it plenty of thought, and if you're unsure don't do it. a tattoo is something that will be on your body forever, so make sure you love it!
Me!!
I drew up one that told my personal story. The 'artist' was a joke! Then my pregnany stretched it out because its on my side & hip. I could choke 18yo KayMo out!
I have a scarlet star (Marine Corps) with a purple ribbon (Crohn's Disease) wrapped around it. As if the ribbon is holding the star back. My Crohns kept me from joining the Marine Corps. It also says Carpe Diem. Or, it did say that but now it looks like 'lorpe Elem' in bold. Gag me.
I have 2 i dont regret it at all I drew a design that has my fav flowers in it and got that on my lower back I cant remember but my mum paid for it for either my birthday or christmas. I then a few years later right before I got married I got my dh name with our wedding bands added to it... And once we have finished having babies i'm going to design something with our babies names, that we'll prolly both get matching :-)
I have one on the inner side of my right wrist I regret it it was suppose to be a orchid flower but the b**** messed up went to deep and now I have these nasty 3dots that were suppose to be the center of the flowers I hate it and I'm to scared to get it fixed because of the pain and how bad she did but I need it fixed 3 dots here is a gang symbol I am always trying to hide it or cover it up hopefully for my bday I will get it fixed
I have 4 tattoos and I regret 1. My first tattoo is the one I regret and it's on the lower part of my back aka "tramp stamp" it's my first daughter's name. I got it when I was 17. The quality is bad and I prefer to have my baby's name somewhere I can show it off. My last 3 tattoos I love!
I have 5 tattoos. I have a pink outline of a butterfly on my right wrist that I got as a matching tattoo with my ex best friend. I like the tattoo but hate the fact that she has the same one and it reminds me of her every time I look at it. I'm planning on adding something to it so it no longer is matching to hers since we aren't friends anymore.
My first tattoo I got at 17 of stars on my lower back, it's cute and I like stars but I didn't take my time picking the best design so it could have been better, I just went online and printed out the first tattoo pic I saw that I liked and got it done. Thankfully no one sees that one. It needs touched up because it's really faded now so I'm hoping when I can go get it touched up they will make it look better.
My dad passed away in 06 so I got angel wings with the word daddy in between on my upper back. My mistake there was who I went to to do it. The guy took a smoke break like every half hour and just acted like he could care less how it turned out as long as he got paid. Since it is on my back I couldn't see it till it was done. The wings look awful and don't even look like angel wings. I cried the whole way home from that because that tattoo has the most meaning to me and the guy f*** ed it up. They looked good on the paper before he put the design on me so idk what happened once he started with the ink. It will probably cost me a lot but I'm determined to find a great tattoo artist that can do some magic to it and make the wings look how they should but idk if it's even possible to fix.
I don't actually regret any of them though, I just wish I took more time to think about everything before jumping into them.
I regret places that I for certain tattoos but not the tattoo itself,I have half a sleeve -- not completely covering but I get the dirtiest looks from people when they see all my tattoos -- I also regret the one on my foot because it looks like crap from fading and I wont get it touched up because I'm afraid to :/
I think they are beautiful too!! That is why I have always wanted one, I thought maybe I could get it lower, where a pump would cover it. I would get a saying I wrote years back that I try to live by, so I know I would love the idea and the meaning behind it... It is just taking that step I guess.
I've always wanted one on my foot, but because of my profession, they need to be coverable, so I'm faced with a tough choice... Tattoo or open toed shoes?!??or ?
I would never get one on my arms, legs, or stomach/sides (at least not until baby making is over) so that leaves my back. I obviously don't want a tramp stamp so that leaves shoulders (not a fan) or between my shoulder blades, which I do like. Ugh!! Decision decisions!! Haha!
@rinrin - why do you regret some of them? You don't like the tat itself, the meaning behind it, etc?
I have three. Two of them I hate and I'm in the middle of having them taken off by laser treatments but I had to put that on hold for now. My other is my eyeliner. It's so nice not having to put eyeliner on in the mornings.
