If the baby was a little older maybe funny. That baby looks very young and unable to support its head. A purse held by one arm is not enough head support. It could slip. A strap could break off that cheap ass purse. New babies aren't the best things to make jokes with.

It looks to me like she just took the pic to be funny. I mean, if the pic was taken in the middle of the mall or on a sidewalk, then it would be time to get all offended, but this pic looks more like an attempt at being funny to me.
