Cleaning pacifiers
Ok this might sound like a dumb question but is it necessary to wash pacifiers with soap and water then sterilize? Or is it ok to just sterilize and not wash with soap and water? I've always washed them first and then sterilized but I'm just wondering if I can skip the step of soap and water.

The instructions on my mam dummy's said wash with soap and water then sterilise. I use a really small amount cause the washing up liquid is still kinda strong I think .

I also rinse it then sterilize. I also clean it off with those paci wipes like everyday.
I just rinse it off with water then sterilize
I only wash with soap and water
