She looked fab!!! Was admitted at 6am and gave birth at 8:34am. They left the hospital later around 6pm. She obviously has a hair/make up team...being a Princess.....but inside she will just be as tired as the rest of us. I'm in the UK and Epi are not common at all....I guess she just had an easy labour. Good on her I say ?

I felt 1000x better after my vaginal birth than my c-section but I still wasn't up right away like I wanted. Epi took forever and a day to wear off of one leg. One leg was fine and normal the other was still half numb and couldn't support weight for at least a few hours after birth. Not sure when it wore off completely as I just decided to go to sleep since I had been up for nearly 48 hours.
I was up walking after he finished my stitches within a couple mins I had an epidural and everything the nurses and doctors were shocked I just had the mind set that I was going to be up and walking within an hour and that's what I did. When they moved me from labor and delivery to the mom and baby rooms tho... I wasn't allowed to walk and the wheel chair ride killed me.
I felt great and still do. My first was way worse. I don't take any meds and never did. I just was too tired to apply makeup and look like this lol I'm sure the sleep will catch up to her.
I felt great after my vaginal/no epidural birth. Even with extensive stitching, I was up and walking within 2 hours. I didn't sleep until midnight that night (after being up for over 36 hours and giving birth at 10:30am.)
I was in full hair and make up the next morning. Like a previous poster stated, every birth is different and some bodies can handle them easier than others.
I passed out 3x after having a vaginal birth with no epidural!! I couldn't get out of bed for 12 hours AT LEAST plus the exhaustion! Lol
Yea they tried to give me perks after I was like Ummm no they said how bout Tylenol I said that's fine. That's all I had.
I felt amazing after my birth :) I got up and walked around/took a shower 2 hours after. I also declined any pain medication after. Nurses were very surprised.
I left the hospital 3 hours after my daughter was born, I felt fantastic! Still do! Giving birth isn't always traumatic and exhausting.
The old ladies waiting at the hospital entrance didn't believe me she was only 3 hours old, "back in their day they weren't allowed out of bed for 2 weeks after having a baby" that would drive me crazy!
I'm the same way lol. Had baby number 2 all natural and was walking just fine a couple hours later. People tell me I don't look like I just had a baby. Every mommy is different
I could fake it if I was royal, even with a section lmao
Mrp yes it is. but see us common folk lol 2 are not worried about how we look in hospital we don't have to take public pix lol. I stayed in the gown till I went home because I was comfortable. Had I been making a public appearance id got dolled up then right back to comfy cloths lol
surrogacy...lol jk
She looks that good cuz she has a team doing makeup an hair.. an if she did vaginal birth no epi (which I think is common over there) like I did I was a mess in labor an delivery hurt like hell BUT I tell you about a 1 hour after he was born. I had got up went to bathroom felt great except I was tired it was like almost 1 am by time I was cleaned up an everything settled down.
I only labored a couple hrs. An the bad part started at 9 pm checked into hospital at 1026 pm he was born 1115 pm. No epi
Lol must've been a vaginal birth. None of the nurses believed I gave birth because of how great I felt/looked. I started to feel the soreness a couple days after the birth n still feeling it 2 weeks pp. lol
