About to lose my s*** !!
DD's dad coming back around last year has been nothing but a problem. He always finds a reason to argue with me over everything. I've been so nice and yet he still tries to argue. DD has a very bad prescription for glasses and she picked out some expensive frames. The total for her new glasses came to $225.00. DD's dad paid $160 and DH and I paid the rest. To make up for the extra money her dad spent I covered her daycare expenses the last 3 weeks (I only work 1 day a week) and paid for the laundry list of school supplies she needed. He was suppose to go school clothes shopping with us this weekend and all of a sudden couldn't afford it this week. He makes about as much as my DH has no other children and lives at his dads rent free so idk how he couldn't afford it. I asked him if he could afford it this weekend and he yelled at me for texting him while he is working. I still haven't heard from him and he hasn't asked to see DD. it's been a week and a half since he has seen her. We just spent $400 on new school clothes because she literally outgrew everything over the summer. Sorry for the long post. I'm just sick of her dad at this point.
"If you want to use the above-referenced “unjust or inappropriate” provision of the CSSA to reduce child support, you should know that the judge will not only look at your income, but your new spouse’s income as well. The CSSA states that judges can consider the “new child” argument only if the resources available to support this new child are less than the resources available to support the children of the prior relationship. In other words, if you and your new spouse’s combined income is equal to, or greater than, the combined income of you and your ex, you’re basically out of luck."
This is what I found online. It's all confusing to me.
I'll have to get a consult with a lawyer. I've given up on contacting him because it doesn't seem to make a difference
Your husbands income really shouldn't matter because it isn't his responsibility to support your daughter. I'm more than sure he does, but legally in the eyes of a court that doesn't matter. Try to call a lawyer for a free consultation. Take it from there. The guy sounds like a d-bag that just wants an excuse to not have to support his child when he knows you and your dh will
Nancy- its quite sad. He tries to play it off to everyone like he is daddy of the year yet comes around when it's on his time. His facking motorcycle is more important to him then seeing his daughter. I wish he would have just left us alone.
We have child support established. It's $73 dollars a week ? I know I shouldn't complain but it's based off his income 5 years ago, from a job he doesn't have anymore. I was told my husbands income would count if I took him back for a modification and would probably end up with less child support. In our order it states any medical or school items were to be split 50/50
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Would you consider this cheating? What would you do
I need advice from a neutral stand point. Genuine advice of what you would do. Ds had his tonsils out last night. For some reason my gut about dh was not good. At night I logged into his Snapchat and saw he was talking to an old friend who he had a thing with. Last thing I was able to see was him saying it was hard to not log into those pictures and she then said she couldn't answer the phone because she was with her husband. I texted dh and a...
Dd was hysterical when he left
And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate...
Am I wrong for not wanting anybody to ride my sons bike but him hes 3 and he has a auntie who is the same age as him but I dont want her to ride it either...
I'd take him to court and bring every bill you have he has to pay daycare? Clothing, medical, extra curricular too. And I wouldn't contact the Bastard again. Let him make the effort to arrange seeing the child and just cut all ties as much as possibles you can't make an a****** responsible for his kid but you can wipe your hands clean of someone who isn't interested in being a parent. I'm sure your husband is good to help you. Sometimes other ppl are willing to step in when the bio parents won't.
