Training bra

When is an appropriate age for a training bra? Who do you feel should make this decision? Would you be annoyed if anyone other than you or your SO purchased a training bra for your daughter?

I don't think age has anything to do with it , it's something that you will just notice . Everyone develops breast at a different age some earlier than others and vice versa . Buying someones daughter a cute shirt or a cute training bra alot different. Alot of times they go to someone else because they feel more comfortable though . It all depends

I would have some choice words with someone if they bought dd a bra. I'd like to be the one to help her, not someone else. Honestly, I don't think it's their place either. Who does that without asking? I'd never do that with someone else's child. If the child came to me, I'd bring it up to their parents--not take the liberty to make a decision about someone else's child. Not my place.

I don't think I would be mad. It's just a bra. Bigger fish to fry!! I was in 6th grade and didn't have one but was becoming pretty developed. My aunt suggested one and finally it clicked for my mom. I definitely should've had one before.

Depends on the child. I'd be pretty pissed if someone, other than me or SO, buy such a thing. It isn't anyone's business but the child and parents.

My oldest is 9 and not quite ready for one. I think as a woman myself I would recognize if I felt she needed one. That being said my daughters private parts aren't for her to discuss with any outside family person. We have had many open talks with our children and they feel comfortable asking us questions about their bodies or other things they hear.

It definitely depends on the child. But I will put it like this. Most of the people I knew/know got a training bra when somebody else pointed out it was needed. I think most of the time mom's and dad's don't see or notice their daughter is blooming. I wouldn't be offered if the person who bought it was close with the child or parents. Maybe it's easier than having the convo with the parents without sounding like a creep. "Like hey your daughter needs a bra" I said these exact words to my bff luckily she was like "really she's still young?" (the girl was 9) I was like yea and that was that.

My godfather took me to get mine. My mom knew about it beforehand but had had a hectic work schedule and my dad wasn't really the parent to go anywhere with us. So when I was shopping with him and his older daughter he just let me pick one out. But I wouldn't mind if someone got dd one. I want her to talk to me about those things but if she's more comfortable with someone else that's okay too. But luckily I have a long time before that happens although she's three and tries to tell me she needs one lol

Age depends fully on the kidnaps situation, but unless a parent was being cruelly negligent, that's Moines business to be butting into. It's strictly between the parents and the kid in question.

I think it depends on the development of the girl. My DD is 8 almost 9 and needed one so I got her some. But anyone but me I'd be annoyed if they broached the topic. Well, maybe my Mom I'd be okay with because I know she would approach it how I would. But no one else. And I never needed one til way later so the age I think depends on the person.

My daughter is 6, and has no reason for a training bra cause there is literally nothing there.

If my daughter felt more comfortable approaching someone else about it, then I'm happy for them to help her out.
