Online courses
I really want to be an LPN but as far as I'm concerned there is no online courses for LPN classes. We have a boces program near me but unfortunately the hours don't work for my family. Does anyone know of any accredited online schools that do an LPN program?
You may be able to do some classes online but the clinicals can't be. Perhaps look into online universities and contact them to find out how you would go about doing the clinicals. There may be programs in place where online universities work with hospitals or clinics to allow students to get their clinical hours in. Try googling lpn online degree, look for the best accredited ones and contact them.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...
I posted the day before yesterday about my friend.. & well....... her fiancé came over, AND she came alone 😐 we eat sit around and after awhile my husband takes him to the back & the next thing I know he’s coming in the house with a weird look on his face, asking her if there was something he should know, I instantly gets up just in case someone turns into a maniac....... well long story short he cried & told her how disloyal she is & how disappointed he was.. she’s crying asking me why would I ...
So over this feeling!
Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The...

Of course this is an extreme case of “picky eater” but on a smaller scale, kids shouldn’t be “picky” eaters. I have never and will never make 2 meals for my sons. They have a well balanced meals and will learn to eat everything regardless of the texture, I’m not raising a “picky” eater
I did the bookwork part of mine online through our local community college, but a lot of it was still on site.
