Guests parking
I need to rant. I live in a townhouse complex. In my court there are 8 townhouses. 4 attached and then 4 across the parking lot. Each townhouse gets 2 designated parking spots with our house number on them and then 5 unreserved spots for first come first serve. Last night DH and I got home with the kids and someone is parked in our parking spot and all the unreserved spots are taken up. Which means I had to park on the street. We knocked on doors and 1 person didn't answer so we know whose house the person is at. I've seen the vehicle here before so they obviously know they can't park there. It's annoying because we pay a lot of rent to live here and someone parks in our parking spot.

I would've had it towed. Did you let your the person you rent from know?

I called maintenance and they said there is nothing I can do until Monday morning when the property manager gets in. I was seriously thinking about calling a towing company. I left a note on their car.

I would have definitely had them towed. I'm petty like that. Take down the license plate and tell the office and see if they can do something about it or at least have it on record so if they do it again, it's not a first offense

My townhouse complex has an off hours line and if there is someone in your slot they call a tow within an hour. I called twice before.
I know the frustration! Luckily some of my neighbors know I would call??
Its usually random guests that take it ?

I'd park behind them. ?

Babybat my husband said the same thing ? I just got a new vehicle though and I don't want it damaged. I took the license plate down and plan to say something to the office tomorrow. If they do it again I'm going to call a tow company to come take their car. The person knows better, and if they don't the tenant knows better.

Leave a note too

They finally left, and I didn't end up with a nasty note on my door. So that's good news ?

They would've been towed I used to pay $75/m to reserve a spot at my complex if someone parked in it they would be towed within 30 min or less.

Did you tell them in the note that the next time they park in your spot their car will be towed? I would have definitely had it towed right then.
Hopefully the office tells that tenant to not have their guests park in other people's spots.

I did. I was nice and b**** y at the same time ?

Someone parked in my assigned spot on Christmas Eve. I couldn't get it towed because of the holiday. I left a nasty note on their window.
