Forcing to go to baby shower
DHs cousins baby shower is this weekend and DH has to work. It's an hour and a half away and I would have to bring both kids with me. We told his parents we really couldn't afford to go but I would still get her a gift and send it along with them. 4 times his mom has said something about me going to the baby shower and she won't give up. She said she would help with the kids but she has done this before and never actually helped. Idk why she won't get the hint.

The last time she said something she called my husband! She already knows he has to work, I don't get why she keeps bringing it up though. I'm at the point of not answering cause she really doesn't get the hint
His parents? We live 2 seconds away from them and they see the kids everyday. This is distant family that doesn't talk to my husband really.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
