Is pedialyte bad?

DS who is 16 months is running a fever of 101.0. He won't eat anything for me and isn't interested in water. Is it ok to give him pedialyte?

My girls pediatrician has always recommended pedialyte and when I took one of them to the ER the other night as we're all sick and have fevers, the doctor there suggested it as well. They make a popsicle version of them now also.

Coconut water Popsicles are a good way to help keep fluids up.

My dd never turned a Popsicle down.

Pedialyte is good to keep sick kids hydrated mostly when they can't keep anything down. It's better for them to drink pedialyte than to become dehydrated. And they shouldn't need it for more than like a day. As soon as they can drink/ eat real food they should go back to that.

When my kids need pedialyte, they get it.
