What do you feed your LO?

My son is 8 months old. Right now he eats baby food that I make, the usual fruits and veggies. I want to try more with him if I can. What do you suggest?

Then throw baby food in the yogurt. That's how we started. That may be the best way to start anyways.
He hasn't actually eaten any fruits raw. It's always been made into baby food but he eats them!
My lo reacted to citrus in my bm. Do you think he would be able to handle it as a solid? I haven't eaten fruit since December. Almost ready for BLW.
If he's has the fruits before then yes, chuck them in. He may actually like the yogurt plain. My daughter did when she was that age. We usually do blue berries, strawberries or banana but melons would be good too. Also if it's getting hot where you are you can freeze mushed fruit in cubes and toss them in a mesh feeder as a frozen treat to munch on and cool down. Those are really yummy when you add yogurt. You could put them in Popsicle molds but that always made them too big but also made me a little nervous.
Anything I eat, ds eats. I just break it/cut it into manageable pieces for him.
Just like anything new you give you should wait a couple of days before introducing anything new just to make sure there's no allergies. I didn't give strawberries or melon until he was around 10 months just because they can be a little tough. As long as they are good and ripe and cut into manageable you should be good to go.
This is my second child and I feel completely clueless. When DD was little her ped just told me to try everything. I feel like I did things wrong with her ?
What about berry fruit ? Like strawberries blueberries blackberries or melon?
With meats I started by shedding up chicken into little pieces. My daughter loved it. She's 20 months and now loves chicken. For the yogurt we used whatever whole milk yogurt we could find. We buy an organic one. I suggest using an unsweetened one and adding cut or mushed fruit for sweetness.
I've given shredded chicken and also bits of ground beef. When you give yogurt stay away from the baby yogurts. They're full of sugar. Get a whole milk plain yogurt and add pureed fruit for sweetness. ?
Cubed steamed sweet potato
Cubed steamed butternut squash
Cauliflower
Avacado
Purple carrot steamed
Have you done any shredded up meats?
We don't have any family history of dairy allergies. When I did DD on yogurt I didn't realize how much sugar is in the gerber baby yogurt. What brand should I go with?
We did pasta a little later but if baby likes texture that's a great option just break it up into little pieces. Yogurt is great as long as your child is okay with lactose. My daughter is a yogurt hog lol.
Skatelate he actually never cared for it being thin, we have always done chunkier baby food with him. Is yogurt okay? What about pasta?
That's pretty much what my daughter had. Maybe purée the food a little less and allow baby to start getting use to chunkier food so you can work toward more solid solids
We are venturing away from purées and going more towards blw. She eats a lot of what we eat, with the exception of high allergy stuff. I've read mixed reviews on that.
At 8 months my LO loved slices of avocado, bananas, steamed broccoli, and cauliflower. He hated purées and did great with BLW.
What would you do with $25,000 If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
What do YOU judge Clearly, no one is a perfect parent nor do we know everything. But what’s something you judge a parent off of or just irks you?
