He may have anxiety from the other dogs and the kids. Maybe re homing him to a family with no other animals or kids would best benefit him, if you have exhausted all other options.
Yorkies usually do better as only dogs. They also usually don't care for kids. Not all are pike that of course. But a lot are. It may be anxiety because of other the other dog.. I'd be getting ride of any dog that nipped at me though.
He has actually been around both of the dogs his whole life but recently just living with them. All of this behavior started when he was a puppy except for the biting, that started about 8-9 months ago. He has only been living with the other dogs for 2 months. It breaks my heart just getting rid of him because I'm not that type of person but I've done all that I can think of, the other dogs are well behaved and are my childhood dogs.
Is he neutered? If not I would start by neutering him.
If he is already, he could need more mental stimulation and very consistent training. He may be a little yorkie, however yorkies are a terrier and were breed to be raters. Some will really have that terrier drive and with out something to release that pent up frustration they will become dominant, aggressive and disobedient.
I fostered a very dominant yorkie that just had the absolute worst manners, his owner was going to take him to a shelter but after grooming him I felt I could help him with his problems and rehome him. I was successful, but it came to the point where I had to keep him leashed and attached to me so I could be right on him to correct him immediately and redirect his bad behavior. That along with mental stimulation and a ton of exercise. He became a dream and is very loved in his new home.
Maybe he will come help with my dog! He is neutered ? we did that as soon as he was old enough. I've bought him a ton of chew toys that squeak or and don't squeak, give him treats. I don't want to give up on him, I can't have him biting people though. It could turn way worse than it has.
A tired dog is a good dog. He may require more exercise than you think. More than just a walk. Make him listen to commands while walking to work his body and mind. Make him sit for a few seconds at every corner, lay down at every hydrant. Things like that. I have this toy, it's basically a squeaky toy on a string attached to a pole. You basically use it like you would if you were playing with a cat, but it's designed for dogs and it really wore my little terriers out.
Kongs are a good toy. You can fill it with peanut butter or another dog friendly thing, freeze it and give it to them. He'll have to really work to get the treat.
If I ever have a difficult dog I'm working with I use the leash and tether method.
