These people lived in the same town I live in. So awful!

I just found it. I cried I couldn't finish it. They should get way more then just 20 years. Those children have to live with that for the rest of their life. Also, they probably have a lot of mental problems because of it. Poor kids

It's sickning how they take children out of good homes and not the one in bad ones.

It was called "adopted twin beaten, strangled, starved and locked in a room" its horrible.

I know they're understaffed but how can they justify harassing people for anti vaxing or those people that "free range parent" but stuff like this is missed.

She was 16 and I think 68 pounds, at 10 looked to be 5. The sad thing is the mom lost her kids to the dad and stepmom because the GAL dropped the ball, and doctors, teachers, etc kept making reports then CPS did nothing. Then they tried to claim they did great work. Family court and social services sadly often ignore what is in front of them and take the easier route. I've seen it happen several times.

The one on dr phil? Made me sick to my stomach hearing their story. Idk how anyone could treat a child like that.

It was awful! It was a slap in the face to those kids. No amount of money will fix the damage they mentally have now.

I watched that the other day! Can't believe how CpS let them fall through the system, and then basically said "sorry we're understaffed". It's a joke.
