Question about vaccinations. Not a debate
Grayson is 7 weeks old. October 7th will put him at 2 months old. I just realized our dr has him scheduled for his next appt December 12th. That will put him at a little over 4 months. This will put him behind on vaccinations won't it ? The first few vaccinations are a series of the same ones right?

Not all doctor's office require a visit for vaccinations. My office only requires a two, six, and twelve month checkup with the doctor. For vaccinations we do a walk in and the nurse will get us in and out without an appointment, just a call ahead for availability. Maybe your office is the same way? I'd call to check and make sure because some vaccinations are a series.

Our doctor does 2,4,6,9,12 months. If you are uncomfortable with waiting until your son is 4 months call the doctor and see if you can get him in for 2 month vaccines OP ?

I've been going to this office for 4 years with DD, they didn't do walk ins then. I'm concerned because he was already born with health issues. The nurse never called me back but the receptionist scheduled me for a 2 month appointment. Thanks ladies

The nurse called me back. The receptionist screwed up and he needed to be in at 2 months for shots. I'm not sure where she got 5 weeks from our last appt in sept would be December ?
