Momma's that Formula Feed..

Momma's that Formula Feed..

Do your babies spit up after? And if they do how much? My daughter will be fed and burped and she'll spit up an hour or two hours later and its a lot. Anyone else experiencing this?

Super random, but I was at the store today for formula, and seen enfamil has an acid reflux formula. Maybe try that if the spit up continues? :) good luck

Ladies thanks for the advice! Today I stuck to 3 oz every 3-4 hours and it reduced the spitting up A LOT. She still spits up but only after she's been burped. Hopefully I found the solution(:

I also use Gerber Good Start Gentle and my LO spits up some even after being burped and being in an upright position after feeding. He's 7 weeks and eating 3-3.5 oz every 3-4 hours. Sometimes it is a small amount and other times it looks like a lot. Definitely asking his pediatrician at his next visit because both I and my SO have acid reflux.

LO is #4 and 2 months young. He has acid reflux and milk allergies. He is on zantac for acid reflux. We have changed his formula 6 times and hope this one will do.

My 2nd child use to spit up the whole bottle. Long story short, we changed his formula to soy milk and did not spit up as much.

My boy hardly ever pukes unless he has a gas bubble and keeps eating. And it's usually not much

Nope... Very rare he spits up and if he does it's hardly anything. Maybe he has reflux or is eating to much??

My baby girl spits up all the time. I've been worried that she has reflux. I feed her similac and use Avent bottles. I also burp her after every ounce and we are feeding her 4 oz. every 3 to 4 hrs. I try to feed her in a more upright position and keep her sat up for 20 to 30 mins after. And after all of that she spits during and after most feedings. But she crys like crazy when I burp her because she doesn't want to stop eating and I think that causes issues sometimes. She is gaining weight and growing like crazy, has plenty of wet diapers and poops 1 time everyday to day and a half. She is 7 weeks 5 days. Do you think she has reflux and if so, what do I do about it?

I give my son similac sensitive and it has been great. Sometimes it's the nipple flow of the bottle. He drinks from Avent Natural size 1 still.

No, mine doesn't but I burp her every 1 1/2 ounces. Also, pediatrician recommended Gerber's formula. You might want to talk to the pediatrician and maybe you might have to change formula.

Doc told me as long as they are not in pain while doing it, it doesn't projectile, and it's not significantly long after. Other then that babies spit up because they don't have their splinter closed yet. Totally normal.

If not reflux, you could be over feeding. My son takes 4 oz every 4ish hours. I would try and span out her feeding times and see if this helps. Otherwise call your pediatrician and they can figure out if it's reflux or not.

I feed my baby boy formula & he doesn't spit up anything. I also use dr.brown bottles

Maybe reflux? Or maybe she's taking too much? Or too quickly? Are you using a level 1 nipple? We use Dr. browns bottles as well. He's spit up twice in 5 weeks.

If is less than 1 oz and no more than an hour after feeding her/him is normal. I use enfamil reguline. No more colics, gases and she doesnt spit up anymore.

It happens after almost every feeding and I use Gerber Good Start Gentle. She eats 4 oz every 2-3 hours. I tried burping her after every oz and she still spit up.

My baby occasionally spits up a little bit shortly after I burp her or maybe even an hour later if she doesn't burp, but one day she spit up what looked like her entire bottle (3.5 oz) and it was so scary! Hope you find a solution.

Maybe you should switch formula

My son is formula fed and does not vomit or spit up! Does it happen every time? I use Tommie tipee bottles

Maybe it's reflux? I'm not sure :( I feed my son only Formula and he has only spit up three times since he was born two weeks ago :/ I also use doctor browns bottles too so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. And I use enfamil gentle ease because the other formula was making his tummy ache

When Baby Won't Stop Spitting Up...

When Baby Won't Stop Spitting Up... What do you do?! I've fed her, she spit up. Wanted to eat. Spit up again. A lot. Basically she just keeps spitting up and crying her face off. Do I keep trying to feed her my milk?! Obviously it's hurting her belly. What do I do?!! Ugh she's soooo unhappy right now :(
