Had appt today still stuck at 80% , no dilation. 37 weeks 3 days

Not yet given one, I don't think they'll check until I actually go into labor or hit my due date.

You know my doctor never has told me how effaced i am, she just would always say my cervix was softening

I was a fingertip dilated at 37 weeks too!

@fitgal I am not sure what fingertip length could be but it wouldn't be much if it was my fingertip. I am 50% effaced.

I see many different cm and percentages. Is it good or bad to be dialated by 37 weeks?

Found out today I'm 1cm I'm 35 weeks and 5 days.... Very excited since I wouldn't dilate with my first pregnancy. Pitocin had to work its magic.

Had mine today for my 37 week appointment. She said my outer cervix was 3cm dilated and my inner cervix was 1cm dilated. Still 70% effaced and baby at -2 station.

I'm still 1-2cm and 50% effaced and babys at -3 station. But dr is checking me for preeclampsia even tho I'm almost 37 weeks now. Better late than never I guess.

At 36 wks and some days I was at a 3. Idk how effaced I was. I didn't get checked yesterday at my appt. Hoping to get the ball rolling soon.

I was 2.5 dialated last week at my 37 week check up, lost my mucus plug Sunday and still here impatiently waiting lol

36+3. Still fully closed, bummer.

I wasn't dilated but was 25% thinned at 37 weeks. Am now 30% thinned and 1-2cm dilated... Having more cramping and a lot more pressure today so I hope things are progressing...

At 34 weeks I was 2cm. I have ny 36 week appt next week and can't wait to seee

39 weeks 2 days and 1cm dilated.

I wasnt dilated at all now im 38 weeks and 6 days and just now started dilating and thinning

Approximately, how much is a fingertip? We all have different fingers. Is that like 1-2 cm?

I've seen a couple of doctors on here tell women this.

They told me 1 and a half fingertip yesterday and I'm 38.5 weeks.

2cm not sure how much effaced they never told me. It's very soft though

Have no idea that don't do that here not until your in labour or go over due date?
