Hates tummy time?
Does anyone's baby hate tummy time? Every time we put his on his tummy he throws a fit within 30seconds. I've tried it all--laying on my stomach, lay on the floor with him, toys, rubbing his back...I'm at a loss on how to get him to be on his tummy so he will start rolling and working his arms.
Aaron doesn't like it to much neither .. I'll leave him on his back and then he will roll over stay like that for a minute then starts yelling so I can flip him back on his back :)
My daughter is getting better now but when she wouldn't stand it at all I just laid down and put her on tummy on me so she'd get some practice. She still doesn't care for it too much. Just keep trying
Same here... Josie HATES tummy time. Her doctor said as long as she can work her neck muscles in other ways that it's okay. We do bumbo & Jumperoo often & she is doing really well at keeping her head up & steady!
Eden is almost 5 months and still despises it. I've tried to let her cry it out, give her toys, mirrors, etc. nothing. I just think that she will be a baby that doesn't ever do it and Im okay with it. I give her plenty of other ways to build muscle such as time in the exersaucer and bumbo. She's getting much better and even trying to pull herself up and to the side.
U just have to let him get used to it they all hate it at first ive been doing it since s newborn so he loves it lol... just keep doing it
It helped when I held her with her tummy down it kinda introduced the idea to her and she got use to me holding her that way so she began to like tummy time after a few days of that
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Any tips? Harrison absolutely hates tummy time! He screams and screams as soon as I try to put him on his tummy. He even cries and cries after it too. I’ve tried doing it on the floor, couch, on me, on his dad, using tummy time pillows, rolling up a towel, using toys and using a mirror! But he still hates it. He literally can’t go any longer than 30 secs before he loses it😩 He liked it soon after he was born but I don’t know why he just hates it now😭 I feel so bad every time I try as he gets so upset by it😭
Okay so my son had his circumcision today (((plastibell circumcision))) and the doctor said tummy time and sleeping on his tummy won’t hurt him butttttt... Idk I still feel like it would be painful for him😬🤔 what y’all think?!?!?
Omg he my kid get over your self it’s ok that he cries during tummy time cause he hates being on his tummy time but to call me a bad mom for letting him do tummy time while I do load of dishes it ok for him to cry it not like I am letting him cry for hours I refuse to let my son get flat head like yours cause u couldn’t deal with some crying lol
My 3 month old My 3 month old has yet to roll over.. He hates tummy time! I think the most he's been on his tummy at one time was like 10 min... I know they learn at their own pace but any ideas on how I can make it fun for him? I've tried toys and talking to him and getting him to look at me but as soon as I walk away when I think he's enjoying it he starts crying.. :-/

Mine hates it too! It doesn't worry me though because he's held his head up since day one at the hospital. He doesn't roll over yet but I'm in no hurry either. ?
