My 6yr old didn't want to go to school today. It was a interested conversation.
Me: Let's get ready.
Ds: (So dramatic) Oh Mom. Not today. I just can't. ?
Me: Why?
Ds: It's my brain. Somethings wrong.
Me: Your brain? ?
Ds: Yes, because all that studying last night made it feel fuzzy today.
Me: Well, sorry buddy. It will feel better after your test.
Ds: You tell Dad your brain hurts when you don't want to do something.
Me: ?. Don't listen to Mommy. And it's not a "brain hurt". It's a headache!
Ds: Since he believes YOU, I'll just tell Daddy next time.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
