Ask for a membrane sweep? Then go home and clean walls and baseboards. Or try doing some squats and some exercises on a labour/exercise ball. Might help move baby down and get things rolling

I'm in the boat with you. 40w5d and not much. She finally has engaged a bit in my pelvis and I have a few less than glamorous body signs happening but no dilation. I took a clash sage bath the other day to try to help things along and have been told eating fresh pineapple is great too. I haven't tried the pineapple yet though. Good luck we are pulling for you.

40+3 days only just loosing mucus plug

Oh wow hopefully you go in really soon! You sound like you are almost there.

I'm right there with you. 40+6 now and it doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. I have plenty of signs except that my cervix won't dialate or soften. Inconsistent contractions and losing a lot of my mucus plug but still won't dialate or get my contractions consistently. Walking has helped a lot but as soon as I rest contractions stop.
