misoprostol dose question
Baby is measuring 8+3 weeks and doctor gave me 2 pills of misoprostol to insert into my vagina. But everywhere i read its supposed to be 4 pills?!! Will it still work??! What is your experience?

Finally made it back home!! My doctor gave me an abdominal ultrasound followed by a vaginal one,baby was measuring 9 weeks 3 days, I'm supposed to be 10 4 today, no heartbeat. He said we could do a d&c or medically abort with the medication cytotec, and pain meds to control my pain. So that's the route I chose. He inserted the first pill at 318 and said I should start spotting around 6 PM , I started spotting at 6pm, so I had to take another one.. then I'll do the other 3 every 6 hours apart as ...

They gave me 4 pills to take vaginally.
I never had contractions and ended up with retained products.
The time before I took them orally and only 2 and I passed everything.
I’m not sure if it had anything to do with how I took it or how many or just other factors. I was 16 weeks both times.
