Mini pill Like? Dislike? Does it work? Lower breast milk supply? Did it make you gain weight???…

I was on the pill trycyclen low for years, I think that's the same as mini pill? I had no side affects, never used condoms, never got pregnant, no wait gain in 4 years. If you can set a reminder on your phone and remember to take it at the same time everyday ide recommend it

The mini pill made me a raging lunatic. It controlled my physical symptoms, but emotionally I was completely out of control. I refused to take it after my second pregnancy.

After my last pregnancy I was on the mini pill for two months and decided to stop taking it due to chest pains. At first I thought it was my anxiety but I stopped taking it and the pains went away.

5000000% agree with Pookie, it did the same to me. Also I bled a lot, like if I didn't take the pill at the same time everyday I would start to spot.

I've been on the mini pill for about 8 months and haven't had any symptoms. The only problem I have is remembering to take it at the same time every day.

I bled throughout the month. Never got pregnant. Reading the other comments makes me think it added too my depression and didn't notice.

I'm 6 months pp & have been on it since 6 weeks pp. No side effects that I've noticed. I have put on maybe 3-4 pounds but I'm pretty sure that's due to having an enormous appetite while breastfeeding. Haven't stopped eating since I gave birth.

I took the mini pill briefly. Same as pp. Really messed with my mood. My supply also dropped, I think due to the irritability it caused which made me feel stressed all the time.

I've been taking it since 6 weeks pp. I spotted for the first month or two at least once a day but I rarely do now. I have to be really on top of taking it at the same time everyday, I was lax about it to begin with. I don't love that it's only 96% compared to 99% like other bc pills but it is what it is.

Other than the spotting I haven't had any adverse effects.

Hated it. Was on it for 6 months and was extremely irritable. Within a couple days of not taking it my mood evened out and I felt normal again

I took it for about a year. I didn't have any side effects that I noticed. (But I'll happily pretend my inability to lose weight was related to it...since stopping it I've lost 10-15 pounds). I started it around 3 months PP and then stopped when my DD was 15 months old. I will say just about 4 weeks after stopping my period returned. So that kinda sucked but may have been coincidence.
