About to pull the

pregnancy card and slap a batch.

Комментарии

He chose a doctors appointment to see how they would act? ??? Why??? It's not exactly a "family affair" hell my dh didn't even come to my appointments.

You need to use your words and say no. Or shut up or something when someone is being that disgusting to you! And do it before baby comes because I can only imagine how nasty they'll be once that happens!!

Stop letting your otherhalf make all the choices with regards to these harpies. He needs to realise that you deserve respect, especially when it comes to the child YOU are carrying. Happy wife, happy life and all that.

The way it's going they will be in the delivery room with you also.

I just wanted to add also, don't stoop down pulling any pregnant card. Pull the "I'm your wife, I deserve respect and a choice in decisions also." card

Tell them they aren't allowed to come in if they show up.

lol I wouldn't ever actually slap her lol I have told my SO that they are my appointments and it will be me and him going and I don't want any tag alongs. He said okay and they aren't going. But he won't tell them they are crossing over lines because he doesn't like conflict so I'm on my own. I'm tired of their disrespectful attitudes toward me. If another situation arises I will put them in there place myself because I know SO won't.

I think it's weird that they came to your appointment in the first place. It's not a party, it's an appointment.

Next time drop her off at the McDonald's play place instead of bringing her. I effing hate people like that.

Нравится Ответить

This could all be solved with you standing up for yourself verbally no need to slap a 14 year old lol. Put her in her place she's a child who knows nothing about what she's talking about. Your SO, SIL, and MIL all need to be set straight period.

You know what? Tell SO not to invite anyone again. You do the inviting from now on and if they have the nerve to show up uninvited.... Politely show them the waiting room and go in by yourself or with SO.

Нравится Ответить

Put your foot down now or it will only get worse. You do not have to be treated like that. That's ridiculous.

My mil was a batch to me at first and DH said it's just how she is. I didn't put up with it at all. I cut her off for a while and she has gotten better.

If I were you I'd tell your husband that their behavior is not an ok way to show you love and that either he starts to correct their behavior or they won't be invited to see the baby in the hospital.

I got the flu shot when I was pregnant, I hate shots but it wasnt to bad. Your arm is just really sore.

Нравится Ответить

Honey, you're going to have to put your foot down. They don't need to be in your lives at all. Your SO needs to stand up for you. That is disrespectful as hell

Me and SOs family do not get along at all. He asked me to make an effort and let them come to one of the appointments and see how they act. They acted terrible, and yet he says that's just their way of showing their love. If they show up today I won't put up with it.

Is your husband at least standing up for you? I would let them know loud and clear that's today was the first and last appointment they will ever be going to. If they have a problem then to bad for them.

Why is a 14 yr old at your doctor's appointment? Why is your MIL there if you're not comfortable with it?

Op, use your words! Speak up! Stand up for yourself and your baby. These are medical appointments, to care for you and your baby. They aren't a spectator sport. You let the snarky comments of a 14 yr old place doubt in your mind about a vaccine your doctor recommended? If you have questions about the flu shot, have a frank convo w your doctor, research and form your own conclusions. Do not let a 14 yr old bully you!

This was a wasted appointment bc you didn't get the information you needed or the ability to speak privately with your medical team. But this is entirely your responsibility! Not your SO, not your MIL, not your SIL, YOU need to be very clear about who you want at your appointments. You need to speak up and say no. They can't be in there wo your permission and medical staff will have your back on that if you SAY something.

Don't let them know when your appointments are. If they show up, have the nurse or dr tell them they can't come back.

Нравится Ответить

Why is your husband allowing them to be a****** s? Why are you? Don't let them go anymore. Don't tell them about appointments. Honestly, if they are going to be jerks then they don't need to be involved. Next time don't have anyone that isn't your spouse in the room. It's not their decisions. It's yours and your partners. I skip the flu vaccine every single time it's offered to myself or the kids. Otherwise I vaccinate.

Don't tell them when your next appointment is.

Нравится Ответить

Why isn't your husband standing up for you and tell her to keep her teenage antics to herself?!?!?

Нравится Ответить

I would seriously tell her to shut up and get out. His mom is old enough to realize she shouldn't be sitting there texting with her daughter like she's an immature 14 year old too. It's your pregnancy, your baby, your decision.

Нравится Ответить

You can tell the nurse you don't want your Mil or Sil in the room and they won't let them.

Нравится Ответить

I'd be mad but I would talk to SO first and get him to handle his sister (First) before i said something because I wouldn't be nice about it.

Нравится Ответить

I would literally just tell her to shut her mouth, but that's just me.

Нравится Ответить

I don't get the point of bringing them to the appointment unless MAYBE. It was for the gender ultrasound . For me I really get annoyed when people are there it's pointless. Next time they stay at home

Нравится Ответить

They're not invited in the room. Period. Maternity apts are medical apts. Not family time. They want to come, fine. I'm sure the waiting room has uncomfortable chairs for them to stick their nosey annoying little butts in

Нравится Ответить

Tell them they can sit in the waiting room lol its your baby, your appointment.

Нравится Ответить

I would say, "little girl, i can handle my own pregnancy and child without your opinions" and then tell my husband he better never invite anyone to my appts again.

Нравится Ответить

Don't let her go to your appointments. Stand up for yourself now before it gets out of hand. It's YOUR dr appointment, nobody gets to be in the room you don't want.
