I went to the doctors and it's just a viral infection I didn't think it was meningitis as he seemed really fine in himself but still wanted to be safe then sorry thank you ladies for your advice xx

It doesn't look like a meningitis rash though x

If they do not disappear he needs to be seen straight away. My son has had 4 rashes that don't disappear and I still take him to get checked every time to be on the safe side x

Looks like an allergy or viral rash to me, book him in with the docs just to be on the safe side as if it's an allergy he might need piriton x x

Keep an eye on him. Check his temp. Ring for advice if needed. It's difficult to tell from pic, but the rash looks like spots. Maybe it's reaction to something?

Yeah I'm gonna ring them because I'm just not sure he's had cold like symptoms for 2 weeks now so maybe it is a virus xx

My LG has a rash at the moment but some of the spots look abit blistered (?) had an awful night with her on Tuesday night but other than that she's been fine in herself. Probably just a viral hun but if you're worried take him to the gp xx

Dd had something like this and turned out to be a flaming sore throat virus - despite her not complaining of a sore throat. Hope it disappears soon x
