My baby has just recovered from bronchilitus she was 10 days old when she was taken in hospital she was there for 18 days on feeding tubes and oxygen,,she picked up another virus while she was in there which delayed her recovery ! She only came out on Tuesday last week just in time for Santa, the ward she was on was full of babies and toddlers all with the same thing

Horrible vile virus it is I have been told to keep her away from people with colds as much as possible because she is now prone to getting it again

Oh that sounds terrible. Glad he's okay now though. I'm just glad I took Oliver as quick as I did because I just put it down to a common cold xx

My son has bronchitis as well we rushed him in boxing day as he was struggling to catch his breath. He got sent home five hours later with an inhalor and advice on what to do the next 48 hours. His wheeze has gone but still coughing and grumpy

Febbabyone just read your post that was like my son it took 6 weeks to get the correct diagnosis so push and push for a test xx

Don't want to scare you but will be honest with you

When my son was 6months old he was diagnosed with bronchitis and he was in/out hospital for 3months, lost him 3/4 times to convulsions but got him back it was a long recovery due to missed diagnosis. My son is now 4 year old and the only health problems he has is low immune system so on vitamins and catches chest infections really easy x

Ahh I didn't know that. Thankfully he's now done with his antibotics and is now feeling loads better. Hope your little man feels better soon xxx

Mine just got it on meds too.. He did vomit from it if they vomit within half an hour of taking it u can regive the dose

Shame all the coughing and mucous makes them vomit ???

He's a lot better tonight the doctors he's practically over the worst of it ive been checking on him regularly but if I feel he's getting worse I will be straight up there xx

If he's finding it difficult to breath or having a hard time pop him up the hospital they will help him with some oxygen x

My boy currently has it, had it for 2 weeks now, slowly getting better but still worse at night x

He started with a cough a high temperature of 38.2 then started to get a runny nose. Then he started to not wanna drink his milk and today I noticed his breathing was getting worse because everytime he breath in you could see his ribs xx

Oh no I don't think I could take 4 weeks :( I don't think I've got the same antibotics as what your little one had ive got amoxicillin xx

My lg had it for 4 weeks :-( 2 lots of salbutamol. She was 6 month. Xx
