just gonna rant here.

So. I care for my cousins small baby while she's in school. Not mandatory to be there or anything for the first month as long as she gets her work done. Not the point. I mentioned to her that I'm not sure how long I can care for her child as I'm planning on going back to school I mentioned it's going to be done at home for the first year or so aside from tests and such and my child is able to play in the livingroom while I sit in the kitchen. And do my work since I can just stand up from the table and peek at her and such. She told me that she's only gone 5 or so hours a day and that I can still watch her child but do my school work after. He's a breastfed baby and I can't even put him down without him getting angry. How is that even fair? I'm only obligated to watch one child. My own. She also told me when I mentioned it that she'll just move out too then. I'm a stay at home mom and it seems like everyone just assumes I do nothing all day and they can pawn their children off on me. When I start school between housekeeping and taking care of my child while doing my school work having meals prepped and made and going to hand in modules and going in for tests and finals and such AND having a small baby attached at the hip I'm not going to have any time for myself....

She’s very much running over YOU. This is the same cousin who told you not to give her child formula but the baby won’t take a bottle and got you stressed for no reason. Like pp said, you need to grow a back bone. She either give her kid formula or she can stay at home and raise her own child.

So let her move out and stop being her personal nanny. Simples ??

Well then that's different from your last post. She sounds entitled to it and if I were you I would stop watching her kid now.

Tell her to hit the road then ✌️

It's like as soon as people decide to go to work or school or whatever they look at the sahm and throw their children at her. I'm actually laughing at her choosing to move out considering she's got a massive bedroom with an ensuite with a Jacuzzi soaker tub and she's going to trade that up for a small bedroom at her friends house that's a nasty disaster all the time for more than what she's paying here. ??????

I'm not allowing her to walk all over me not am I letting her tell me what I can and can't do. I'm just frustrated that she acts like it's my obligation. She threatened to move out like it was a big deal or something when we pay 95% of everything. ?

One thing you most certainly need is a backbone. She's gonna throw a fit and move out? Girl, bye. From one stay at home mom to another just because you're at home does not mean you're obligated to watch anyone's children. Family or not.

Yea, I'm a little confused why you're allowing her to walk all over u.....u said she threatened to move out so is she the one footing all the bills/house payment or something?

Are you a child or what? She’s bossing you around and you’re going along with it. Tell her NO!

Why is she telling you what you can and can’t do? She’s not your parent or SO. Stop being her doormat.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder off so I'm scared to bus her because they lost her 2times on the bus and just the other day they let her walk home by herself I'm just in over my head please pray for me that I can find the right school and get an understanding of what to do

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
