What can I do about this drastic line where my lip ends? I love this color and get compliments all the time but this line is bugging me. I don't notice it as much with my brown lipstick but with the vampiric color Its just super noticeable. I've tried blotting the inner lip to kind of have a smooth transition but it doesn't work.
be honest, how do y'all like the lip color? I neverrrr wesr lipstick or anything.
I see lines... I'm not convinced though. I just feel like it's indent lines, no color. In denial? In shock? Line eyes?
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
So quick question, and I want ppl to answer this. My boyfriend sees this dress in the colors of blue and black I see white and gold. So what colors are the dress?
Can you guys see it ? The line is really fainted it is more noticeable in person I will try next week again I did it this morning crossing my fingers🙏

Take toilet paper (just ONE sheet, like if you have the fluffy kind, pull it apart so it's one thin sheet) & blend it & blot a little. That usually works for me.

@filterless I'll give that a go. I'll still be okay with that line being there if it's a gradual fade and not so sharp. I just threw my brown on the inner part of my lip to help it fade a little more gradually and I actually really like the color combo but I like my dark lip and really don't want to add lighter softer colors to make it presentable. ?

With liquid to Matte lipsticks I just take some chapstick right along that line and rub it in. The rest will stay Matte but it will soften that hard line and keep you from getting that annoying gunky feeling.

Honestly. I didn't even know lip primer existed. I'm usually all about the rest of my face with makeup and just recently started using lipstick instead of gloss. ??

Have you tried a lip primer before applying the liquid lipstick?
You can also try applying a lip stain in a similar shade of the lipstick beforehand.

I never thought about keeping my mouth open til it dries completely. I didn't figure that was the issue. Liner doesn't stick well on that part. My actual lip texture ends at that line and the rest is just the inside of my lip.

Maybe a lip liner there? Mine always stays put. I have this problem as well lol but have starting putting liner on before lipstick

I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it but I know some ladies in here are okay with makeup and it's driving me crazy. Its liquid lipstick. I finally got the hang of putting this dark of a shade on but when I talk or anything the line is horrendous.
