I usually did 3 heaping spoonfuls of coffee for a whole pot.

Holy cow! I only put like 3-4 scoops for my 12cup pot! I can't imagine anything stronger, haha

I can't imagine 5 scoops for 10 cups...that seems like it'd be so weak to me!! I'm glad you figured it out & made it nice and strong lol.

I usually do about a scoop per cup. Either a coffee scoop or a tablespoon. So 10 cups = about 10 tablespoons. That's how my mom taught me and I think it comes out good lol. Try it & if you think it's too strong do 8 or 9 scoops.

I do one scoop for every 2 cups.

2 cups = 1 scoop

4 cups = 2 scoops

6 cups = 3 scoops

8 cups = 4 scoops

10 cups = 5 scoops.

I use Folgers instant...I love it BD want me to make it all the time

I fill mine about 8 and do 9 scoops. Always an extra.

Most people I know fill them for a house full of people. My coffee mug can be filled maybe 3 times with my carafe then it's all gone. I got addicted to it sometime after dd was born. I got tired of dragging my arse around. Now I just drink coffee all day to keep myself on my feet.

@serena I started using mine to fill it cause I drink coffee regularly throughout the day and mine keeps it got all day. I had water in it from 8 last night til 9 this morning cause I was cleaning it and it was still boiling.

I DID IT!! 11 tbsp to 10 cups of water. Its delicious. I'm so proud!

My coffee maker's instructions recommended 1 level tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup of water you fill the machine with.

But I'm lazy so I do 4ish heaping tablespoons for 6 cups of water.

I wish I took a picture of my epic fail. I have a kick arse coffee machine and I forgot to put the kid on the carafe and there was coffee and wet grounds everywhere. I felt like a failure. I'm now attempting my third pot of the day. I have a Mr coffee keurig but it only makes a set amount and doesn't fill my coffee cup. I have a diy k cup that I was using before but I drink coffee pretty much all day so I figured id start using my actual machine. My husband killed himself laughing while helping me clean up the mess. The part that the filter goes into was filled to the brim with water. I hope this time it works out. Classic roast is the closest I've found to the Folgers gourmet whatchamacallit k cups.

When I make 12 cups I use 6 tbsp for my husband's coffee. He puts it in a 24hour thermos and has it gone before he gets home 8-10 hours later.

So personally I'd say 5 tbsp for 10 cups

I have a 12 cup Mr. Coffee coffee maker & I use 2 shot glasses of Folgers Classic roast. Yep! There's more than one use for that shot glass! ?

Maybe its the coffee? I've got a 12 cup coffee maker, and use Folger's Colombian medium dark roast. For 4-6 cups (of any coffee) I use 2 heaping measuring tablespoons and one level. Sooo for 10 cups maybe try 5-6 heaping tablespoons? Or stronger coffee

I use 5-9 depending how much sleep I got the night before.

I have a 12 cup and put 3-4 depending on the level of caffeine I need. My SO is a 5-6. I don't like mud. I like coffee.

They have a plastic refillable keurig cup you can use to put your own coffee op. I bought a couple of them and come in handy. Isk how to make a whole pot of coffee, I can never get it right it's either to weak or way to strong ?
