Can a yeast infection that just came on cause bleeding? I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant and I got a yeast infection that started yesterday and I'm spotting very faintly. I haven't done anything to irritate it or anything like that. I just went to the bathroom and wiped and there was very faint blood. Not sure if I should go to hospital or not. I've never bled with a yeast infection.

Never heard of bleeding with a yeast infection. Phone your doctor.

Yeast infections (internal) can cause spotting.

I did but I left mine for 2 weeks untreated. I didn't know what it was. And I had minor contractions

I'd phone the doctor. I don't think it requires a ER visit but u should see what steps you need to take to correct it. As Ik it's bad not Just for you but your LO...

If you are using the cream you inject, it can cause some spotting from the insertion also infections can irritate the uterus and cause spotting.

I haven't used anything on it yet. I'm waiting to make sure what's safe to take for it. And the blood is very light. I can't even tell what color. I'm partially color blind so it all looks the same to me. Unless it's drastically black or bright.
