Terrified & feeling so alone
Terrified & feeling so alone I found out today that I may need shoulder surgery. I had a 2.5 year old, a soon to be ex-husband, and no family in town. If I have surgery my dominant arm will be immobilized in a sling for 4 - 6 weeks. I won't be able to care for myself much less my daughter.

I had a hysterectomy, cystocele, and rectocele repair a few months after my last c section. My surgeon did a bladder sling using my own tissue which hasn't worked that great. She did say I would have to have another done in a few years if this one failed. I was in the hospital for two nights and with the extensive surgery I had, there was a good amount of pain and I had to come home with a Foley catheter for a week which gave me the worst UTI I've ever had!
