Maverick had his checkups in Denver on Monday! We also got to go visit the NICU and see his/our favorite primary nurse. All of his appointments went great! Opthomologist said his eyes look great and just wants to see him when he turns 2. Cardiology said the narrowing of his aorta that he previously had has resolved itself as well as his murmur. The Developmental specialist worked with him and taught us some exercises to do with him to help speed up his "catch up" process. We will most likely be getting him into physical therapy to help him strengthen the muscles in his tummy, hands and legs. Overall a great visit! We go back to Denver in March to check up with our developmental specialist again to check on his progress. So lucky to have our little Mav be doing so well! ?

Trigger. Our precious boy
Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

So this morning my fiancé and me went to my folks for Christmas. On our way there we had to stop at his ex fiancé house to drop off an ornament we found of hers when we were setting up our tree. I was upset because I really didn't want to see her especially on our first Christmas being engaged and our daughters first Christmas because she has been mean about me in the past.
