Had a hard day today. Maverick had his 6 week head ultrasound and while the small bleeds he had have cleared up they found another problem. When he was in my belly or when he was first born he had lost oxygen for a period of time and it caused brain damage to his left and right lateral ventricles. This increases his chances for cerebral palsy which means he might have a hard time walking/ learning to walk. We are absolutely heartbroken by this discovery and hoping we can find peace and hope. He has been Mighty and such a fighter all along so we just hope he will continue to do so. Prayers and thoughts are much appreciated.
so sad but for god is not noting imposible just trust him ,when i star walking i have one foot bad ,all people tink i never goin to walk and thanks god now i walk witt 8 cm high heels ,god made a miracle in my life i walk at 3+ years
Lots of prayers your way!! I have faith he will be ok.. My daughter was born at 26w and my placenta was barely attached -- she has some large cysts and holes in her brain from oxygen being cut off for extensive periods of time..
I was told that her motor skills would be delayed and she likely wouldn't crawl, walk or talk and that she would either be "retarded or dead" (according to the nurse) and guess what? She's now a healthy, happy, smart 4year old with no developmental delays.. So I have faith your little guy will pull through just fine
I'm sorry you heard that diagnosis. But I agree with blackdiamond. Take it a day at a time. For now, he's a beautiful preemie and doing well. My prayers are with him.
My prayers to your family and handsome/strong baby boy.... i cant imagine the battles you all are fighting with this new news but i say stay strong. You and baby boy got this!!! Much love to you and your baby ????
He looks so good you would never know it to be true.
I have read stories ( from when I had my 31 weeker ) many times they say these things and the diagnosis isn't correct or they find out what they thought was the case wasn't.
Hey ladies question so I’m messing with this guy and me and him been talking for a minute and we have been having sex and like some stuff is off like he don’t want me at his house and he’s 30 and like he comes round only at night time and like after we done having sex he hurry up and wash his self off like his face and mouth and penis with soap and when we kiss he want me to wipe my lipgloss off first Does these sound like signs of him cheating and him having someone back at home ??????
So, our downstairs neighbors have been banging on the ceiling every time our son walks. It scares him every time because it’s loud and he can feel it. I’m about over it. He’s TWO. He’s learning how to walk quietly but it’s hard for him. After about the 10th bang, I usually just put him in his high chair or his room. But I shouldn’t have to trap my kid in his own house bc of rude grown adults.
So Thursday is the day where my husband is getting his sperm checked out to see if we are able to have a baby i hope we can because its been almost two years and its been awhile since we had sex because i just be so down because we cant have a baby and it will be his first
son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.
