Sleep/Wake (Daytime) How old is your baby?

Almost 4 weeks old and he usually naps about 4x during the day from an hour to 2.5 hours. His day usually goes from 8a-8p. At night he sleeps anywhere from 3-5 hour stretches and wakes up 2 or 3 times to eat.

She'll be 2 months in a week love and out of 24 hrs she's awake maybe 3-4hrs total throughout the whole day

11 days old. She wakes up around midnight, eats, sleeps, repeat about every 3-4 hrs.

At night time she goes to sleep right after feed, during the day she will stay up anywhere from 30-60 min after feeding. She drinks between 70-90ml each time.

Hoping to stretch her to 4 hrs by the time she is a month.

She still has random wake ups once a day where she is hungry after just 2 hrs. But she is a great baby. Cried only for food - can't complain.

My son is 5 days old. He sleeps for probably almost 19 hours a day. This is totally new to me because my first born was colicky, and awake way more than he slept!

Ha ha if1. I started aiming for this routine from day 1. My first son was a terrible sleeper so i was adamant it was going to be differant this time. My tips are to prepare them for sleep before they appear tired. We swaddle, cuddle then in cot (which is in his own room) 15 minutes before skedules nap and i wake him for feeds so he is learning eat play sleep. We have good days and bad days but he has followed this properly now for a week. It was hell for a while and i nearly chucked in the towel wanting to allow him to lead the routine but we got there!

My boys 5 weeks today. His routine is wake up bottle 7am. Nap at 830. Normally sleeps for 2 hours. Bottle at 1030. Naps at 12. Another 2 hour sleep. Bottle at 230. Nap at 430. Hour nap. Bath at 530. Bottle at 6ish then bed. Dream feed at 10. He then wakes about 230m for a feed.

So he is awake about an hour an half at a time.

Ok so by around 1 month they're staying awake for a few hours in between naps.

I find my little one is just beginning to stay awake for just a little longer every now and then. It started yesterday- she's 3 weeks Wednesday.

My guy has put himself on a routine. During the day (8am-8pm) he wakes up eats stays awake for an hour or so naps for an hour wakes up eats. Feedings take about 30 min. At night he sleeps 4 hour stretches and he wakes up to eat that it's, he will even sleep through diaper changes.

Sleeps with exception of waking to eat from 7pm-8am then throughout the day sleeps 4-5 hours tops. Mostly awake during the day.

3 weeks old. Sleeps most of the day but is up for a good stretch of about 90 minutes in the am and about 2 hours early evening. She's up for brief periods between 30-90 minute naps but nothing significant. At night she sleeps 2-3 hours then wakes to get changed and eat and falls back to sleep easily. She'll take one good 4 hour nap a day but we never know when that will be.

Oh i forgot to mention....her sleeping that long for a nap, is not a regular thing!!! Its usually 2 hours tops. Sometimes only 45 minutes.

He will be six weeks on Friday. He wakes up every two hours and is up 1-2 hours. But he's usually pretty calm if he's staying up that long. He's getting to the stage where he just stares st things. It's like he fights to stay awake so he can observe the world.

Yesterday she slept 3-4 hours at a time during her naps. She even slept through a diaper change!! Trying to get her aware of day/night, so she stays awake a little longer during the day. But I would say, usually shes awake 1-2 hours. There were a few times she has been awake 4-5 hours during the day. I would NOT recommend that!! Haha!! She just turned 6 weeks yesterday.
