Complaining!!! I don't like to complain...but here it goes.

@colorado yeah I can't stress-this is a baby we're talking about, not a shopping trip right!!! I can't control Mother Nature and when baby wants to come, just gotta chill!!

And thankfully they moved my date up by 2 days-still half way through my MILs visit here but better then nothing and at least she can see baby for a little before leaving.

@jadaxx-yeah I was hoping he could take the following week off but his office is not allowing time off for anyone during that week.

Yeah no point in stressing. For me it would just feel awful that I would start to get contractions, then they'd go away and it was like a total let down. Then I thought to myself, why the heck am I putting myself through such misery?

& don't worry about your MIL. We can't always please everyone. & her being a mother herself, should know that there are sometimes just things beyond our control.

I had my hubby tell work my due date but if no baby shows he won't be taking the time off- they know to expect him to leave sooner or later- no point him using paternity leave and no baby especially as ill want help and he will want to spend time. Can't he just advise them and not take the week prior off?

Yeah you're right ?!!! I feel pressure for my MIL to spend time with baby...gosh it really sucks... but it is what it is and I certainly don't want to rush baby. I would rather wait until my section date cause I love my babies coming out a good size. We'll see what happens!!

You know, I was (still am) in the same boat. Took 2 weeks off from work with no baby yet. I can have a natural birth, but if he's not out by Monday, I have the c-section that day.

I worried and worried and did everything! Walked 3 hrs, did nipple stimulation, had lots of sex, drank clove tea, drank cinnamon tea, bounced on the ball... had a lot of contractions and nothing. Everything would just make me feel even more miserable.

... and then, I just finally gave up! I always believe things happen for a reason and he'll come if my body is ready. Just decided to let it go, not stress out about it, and just watch lots and lots of Netflix ? 4 more days til c-section ?

If family comes over, just have fun! Don't stress out. Take it as a mini vacation before baby is here and turn it into something positive. Have a little party. Do some baking. Play family games. Record a video for the baby letting him know how anxious you are to see him...

I started pumping at 36 1/2 weeks. Water broke at 38w2d. They say pumping is ok if you have a HEALTHY pregnancy. I had zero issues so I gave it a whirl.

Awwwww Shari I'm so disappointed for you. I really hope baby makes its grand entrance sooner ?

@shetaki when should I start doing this! I'm 37 weeks today. I don't want to go too soon...should start maybe 38 weeks?

I sat on an exercise ball and gently bounced on it while my hubby and I played games together, ate pineapple and drank the juice and tried nipple stimulation... oh and we had sex. I did all of that on Sunday and went into labor on Monday... don't know if that'll help you but it worked for me! My son was due May 6th and we had him on April 24th.

Sure does suck...and my babies never come early...my first was overdue by two weeks and even then I had to be induced. I'll see what I can do. Don't want to make baby come early if it's not ready but feeling pressure for sure!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. That is so disappointing?. Do everything you can to get that baby to come out early mama. Good luck!!

What a bummer! I'd definitely try everything from walking, sex and pineapples!
