any silly/crazy things that started your labour?
Or crazy things that broke your water?
The entire pregnancy I didn't eat cold sandwiches (which are my FAVORITE foods during summer). I finally caved at 39 weeks and got a Jersey Mike's cold Italian sandwich on a Sunday evening.
Monday morning around 9:45 contractions started but were about 15/20 minutes apart. Was admitted to the hospital at 6:00pm and delivered Tuesday morning at 4:13am.
My water never broke on it's own, they had to break my water around 10:30pm to place an internal monitor.
Oh lol! Never heard of it before. Those are some interesting stories
I ate a couple (more like a few ??) plates of cheese nachos and the chips were sooo salty. Usually i hate lots of salt but for some reason I didn't mind. But that night I was soo swollen, the most I ever got in my pregnancy, and my water broke as I was falling asleep. I still think it was all the salt as silly as it sounds haha I was 37w5d
In the house I lived in it had a mains drain in the garden which served a row of houses. Someone had been flushing nappies down the drain (!) and it was blocked and overflowing with excrement. The landlord got a drain cleaner guy to come and sort it and I made the mistake of having a look while the drain cover was open. It was horrific. Shortly after, my contractions started ?
I went to my brother-in-law's wedding. Woke up the next morning in the early stages of back labour!
Could have been coincidence, but DD went bonkers and shot up under my ribs when the dj started (that's also the most likely time when she went back-to-back), so maybe that triggered it.
What's the baby dance lol? You mean sex?
I went into labor with ds2 3 weeks early.. for a week straight I did that "labor dance" ? I don't think the labor dance did it because I naturally had my first early as well, but I think maybe it helped (and no I wasn't really trying to go into labor at 35 weeks I had read the labor dance helps baby get into place and opens your hips since I didn't do a lot of walking)
Wow, I've been super stressed this whole pregnancy so I don't think that's doing it for me ? I ate a bunch of Pineapple this morning, and I'm about to take a nice relaxing bath. Come on baby, mommy can't wait to meet you
I think stress did it for me with my 1st. I was only 35 1/2 weeks and my hubby was sick his thoat was so swollen you couldn't even see his neck. I feared the worst and was picturing raising our baby without her daddy. In the middle of the night I woke up to wet undies not too bad I thought I peed myself a bit but it kept happening I tried to wake up my hubby but it was useless mid afternoon I finally got him up to go and sure enough it was my water ended up in a csection bc labor wouldn't start and they didn't want to risk infection. Hubby had to be in extra layers of protective gear to make sure he didn't pass any germs during the operation as soon as baby was born he left to go to the er. Turns out he had a cyst on his tonsil and had to get it removed. I still think to this day it was all the stress with worrying why he was so swollen he didn't even have a neck anymore just a big ball.
Family secrets
What's a big family secret of yours? Or crazy story?
things kids say
What are some crazy things your kids tell you?
husbands
What's the craziest thing your husband / boyfriend has said about your body since becoming pregnant.

So apparently your racist if you own a gun? Wow.... crazy
I hate when people come near my belly button. My husband knows this. So on my due date he tries to put his finger in it and I start laughing and yelling at him at the same time because for some reason it makes me feel queasy and ticklish and turned on at the same time.... so there ya goooo... i guess the combo of feeling caused a trickle of water out my vagina ?
